Analog Devices launches CodeFusion Studio 2.0 to accelerate embedded AI development

Analog Devices has announced CodeFusion Studio™ 2.0, a major upgrade to its open-source embedded development platform. The new version simplifies and accelerates the creation of AI-enabled embedded systems, offering enhanced hardware abstraction, seamless AI integration, and improved automation tools.

“The next era of embedded intelligence requires removing friction from AI development,” said Rob Oshana, Senior Vice President, Software and Digital Platforms Group, ADI. “CodeFusion Studio 2.0 transforms the developer experience by unifying fragmented AI workflows into a seamless process, empowering developers to innovate and accelerate time-to-market.”

Key Highlights

Future-Ready Embedded Intelligence

CodeFusion Studio 2.0 is built on Microsoft’s Visual Studio Code, offering a familiar interface and open-source flexibility. It aligns with ADI’s broader vision of enabling “Physical Intelligence” — systems that can perceive, reason, and act locally within the constraints of real-world physics.
“We’re creating an ecosystem that lets developers optimize, deploy, and evaluate AI models seamlessly on ADI hardware—even without physical access to a board,” said Paul Golding, Vice President, Edge AI and Robotics, ADI. “CodeFusion Studio 2.0 is a key step toward delivering Physical Intelligence to our customers.”

Availability

CodeFusion Studio 2.0 is now available for download, along with documentation and community resources for developers.
