Anant Raj Cloud, a subsidiary of Anant Raj Limited, has partnered Spain-based Submer to develop fully operational, AI-ready datacenters across India.

This comes as enterprises scale GPU-intensive workloads and sovereign AI infrastructure.

The collaboration brings together Submer’s modular datacenter and liquid-cooling technologies with Anant Raj’s datacenter campuses and operational capabilities.

As per the statement, the partnership aims to enable rapid deployment of high-density, energy-efficient AI computing platforms to support enterprise and sovereign AI workloads at scale.

Submer’s CEO, Patrick Smets, said, “India is at a pivotal moment in its digital transformation. By combining Submer’s modular datacenter infrastructure, liquid cooling technologies and prefabricated MEP systems with Anant Raj’s existing Data Center Infrastructure & Cloud Services and campus development capabilities, we bring high-performance AI compute online fast while significantly reducing environmental impact.”

The move comes as India steps up investments in artificial intelligence data centres, cloud infrastructure, and semiconductor manufacturing, backed by policy measures announced in the Union Budget 2026–27.

Earlier, the government had proposed a 20-year tax holiday for foreign companies offering cloud services to global clients through data centres located in India.

On Tuesday, it clarified that the concession will apply equally to both domestic and foreign investors.

Expanding AI data centre and neocloud opportunities in India

Under the collaboration, Submer will provide full-stack AI infrastructure, including modular datacenter design, liquid-cooling systems, and prefabricated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.

Anant Raj Cloud will provide the physical data centre campuses, infrastructure development, and operational support.

This will help expand its footprint beyond traditional colocation and cloud services.

The company operates datacenter campuses in Manesar and Panchkula, Haryana, and is positioning itself as a provider of utility-grade AI infrastructure for GPU-intensive workloads.

The partnership also integrates Submer’s neocloud and inference platform, InferX.

This enables customers to access AI-ready compute through a unified, end-to-end delivery model.

This approach provides enterprises with a single, accountable source for AI datacenter design, deployment, and scalable operations, aligned with India’s data sovereignty and compliance requirements.

Anant Raj Limited’s managing director, Amit Sarin, said, “Partnering with Submer and InferX to deliver sustainable AI datacenter and cloud services at speed provides the perfect solution to support our economic growth. This collaboration expands access to high-performance computing while advancing India’s AI sovereignty goals and nurturing a scalable, homegrown ecosystem. Our investments are firmly anchored in the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of Digital India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat.”

The memorandum of understanding is signed and exchanged at the India AI Impact Summit 2026.

Such partnership reflects growing opportunities for the channel ecosystem around AI datacenter build-out, liquid-cooling adoption, and sovereign AI infrastructure in India.
