Anthropic strengthens India cloud partnerships with dedicated GTM leadership hire
The company appoints Raunak Khetan as Cloud GTM Partnerships Lead for India to drive engagement with hyperscalers and expand enterprise adoption of Claude.
Anthropic has appointed Raunak Khetan as Cloud GTM Partnerships Lead for India, signalling a stronger focus on cloud partnerships as the company expands the enterprise adoption of its Claude AI models in the country.
In his new role, Khetan will lead Anthropic's engagement with hyperscale cloud providers in India, helping bring Claude to enterprise customers through cloud partner ecosystems.
The appointment comes as Anthropic continues to expand its enterprise AI presence globally, with cloud providers playing a key role in delivering Claude to enterprise customers.
Earlier this year, the company appointed Siddiq Zaman as Head of Partnerships for India to lead the growth of its enterprise partner ecosystem. The appointment followed the opening of Anthropic's Bengaluru office, where the company said India had become Claude's second-largest market globally, with growing enterprise adoption across software development, legacy modernisation and operational AI deployments.
Announcing the appointment on LinkedIn, Khetan said he will drive the company's engagement with hyperscalers across the region.
"India is one of the fastest-moving AI markets in the world. Bringing Claude to enterprises here, together with our cloud partners, is an opportunity I couldn't be more excited about," he wrote.
The appointment highlights the growing importance of cloud partnerships in Anthropic's enterprise strategy.
Claude is available through major cloud platforms, enabling enterprises to access Anthropic's foundation models through existing cloud environments.
By appointing a dedicated Cloud GTM Partnerships Lead for India, Anthropic is strengthening its engagement with hyperscalers as enterprise demand for generative AI continues to grow across sectors.
The role is expected to focus on expanding collaboration with cloud partners to accelerate enterprise adoption of Claude across the Indian market.
India remains a strategic AI market
India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing enterprise AI markets, with organisations increasingly deploying generative AI across customer service, software development, business operations and knowledge management.
Khetan described India as one of the world's fastest-moving AI markets and said he looks forward to working with cloud partners to bring Claude to enterprises across the country.
He also highlighted Anthropic's culture, saying the company's focus on building AI safely stood out during the interview process.
"Anthropic is building AI at the frontier with safety as a first principle, not an afterthought," he said.
According to Khetan, the company's mission shapes everyday decisions, making the opportunity to contribute particularly meaningful at a time when AI is becoming one of the most consequential technologies.
The appointment reflects Anthropic's continued focus on strengthening its go-to-market strategy through cloud partnerships as competition in the enterprise AI market intensifies.
