Aurionpro Solutions has secured its largest data centre order to date, winning a ₹350 crore mandate from a hyperscale operator to develop an approximately 30 MW AI-ready green data centre in South India, with completion targeted for mid-FY27, CRN India has learned.

The hyperscale customer’s name cannot be disclosed due to a non-disclosure agreement, according to information shared with this publication.

The exact city location is also yet to be disclosed, although the project will be located in South India.

In an exchange filing, the company said the multi-year project is valued at around ₹350 crore and involves developing a large AI-ready green data centre designed to support next-generation high-density computing workloads.

The engagement includes comprehensive design, detailed engineering, and end-to-end execution of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works.

These will be delivered by Aurionpro’s in-house engineering team specialising in mission-critical infrastructure.

The company is also unable to reveal the GPU or AI compute infrastructure partners at this stage, as approvals from the respective vendors are required before disclosure.

The project marks a milestone for the company as it moves toward delivering its first AI-ready data centre, expanding its footprint in India’s rapidly growing digital infrastructure ecosystem.

Commenting on the development, Aurionpro Solutions’ group chief executive officer, Ashish Rai, said, “Aurionpro is proud to be entrusted with this prestigious mandate and remains fully committed to delivering the project with the highest standards of quality and execution.”

“With demand already outpacing available capacity, we see a significant and sustained growth runway for the sector. Aurionpro is steadily establishing itself as a partner of choice within this ecosystem, and we are well positioned to contribute meaningfully to this next phase of sovereign digital infrastructure expansion in India,” Rai said.

“This win is a significant endorsement of our engineering depth and execution capabilities, as well as our position as one of the finest teams in the segment to partner with. I am confident it will open up even larger opportunities as we continue to scale up our capabilities in this high-growth segment,” he added.

The win comes as India’s data centre sector enters a new expansion phase.

According to the company, the country’s total data centre capacity reached around 1.5 GW in 2025 and is projected to reach 2 GW by the end of 2026, driven largely by hyperscale cloud expansion and the rising compute requirements of AI applications.

Once operational, the 30 MW facility will support high-density AI and cloud workloads, reflecting the broader shift towards infrastructure designed specifically for GPU-intensive computing environments.
