Hitachi Vantara targets midrange growth through regional partner programme

The company is expanding partner enablement and marketing support as it targets AI-ready data infrastructure opportunities across the region.

Hitachi Vantara is continuing its regional partner programme across India and the SAARC region as it looks to accelerate customer acquisition and drive demand for midrange systems through its channel ecosystem.

The company outlined the strategy during its Partner Summit 2026, which brought together over 80 partners and distributors from across the region.

As part of the programme, Hitachi Vantara will focus on helping partners expand their market reach through simplified engagement, enhanced digital marketing support and expanded enablement initiatives.

The company said the programme is designed to support new customer acquisition while increasing adoption of its midrange portfolio across India and SAARC markets.

The summit, held in Rishikesh, focused on AI-ready data strategies, partner growth opportunities and digital transformation initiatives.

Partners participated in leadership discussions, strategic planning sessions and hands-on engagements focused on data management challenges and infrastructure requirements as organisations continue to expand digital operations.

Hitachi Vantara's managing director and vice president for India and SAARC, Hemant Tiwari, said the region is experiencing significant AI-driven transformation and partners continue to play a key role in helping customers modernise their data environments.

"India and the SAARC region stand at the forefront of one of the most significant waves of AI-driven transformation we've seen, and our partners are the force multiplying that momentum," Tiwari said.

He added that the company remains focused on working closely with partners to help customers use data more effectively and build resilient businesses.

Expanding partner engagement

Hitachi Vantara also continued its Partner Advisory Board programme, which is now in its third year.

The forum brought together 12 partner executives to exchange feedback with company leadership on strategy, innovation priorities and ecosystem engagement.

According to the company, the advisory board helps align partner feedback with business priorities across the region.

Hitachi Vantara's head of strategic partners and alliances for India and SAARC, Darsshan Somaiya, said the company is focused on equipping partners with the tools, incentives and support required to address emerging customer opportunities.

"This summit was about giving our partners the AI-ready tools, incentives and the confidence to lead boldly in their markets," Somaiya said.

The event also included the company's annual partner awards programme, recognising achievements across reseller, distributor and solution provider categories.

VarniTech Solution was named Breakthrough Partner of the Year, while Hitachi Systems India received the Value Added Partner of the Year award. Swan Solutions & Services won Partner Led Deal of the Year and Redington was recognised as Value Added Distributor of the Year.

RAH Infotech received the Best Distributor of the Year award under the Run to Win category, while Micro Hard IT Solutions was recognised as Best Reseller of the Year. Other winners included Cache Digitech, CAS Trading House, Ishan Technologies and Sterlite Technologies.

Through its continued investment in partner programmes, enablement initiatives and ecosystem engagement, Hitachi Vantara is looking to strengthen partner participation in customer acquisition and data infrastructure opportunities across India and the SAARC region.
