Kyndryl sets up SAP Centre of Excellence to accelerate AI-led modernisation

Kyndryl has established a SAP Transformations Centre of Excellence (CoE) to support enterprises adopting agentic AI for large-scale SAP modernisation.

The CoE is designed as a co-creation hub where customers work with Kyndryl’s designers, engineers, and SAP specialists to modernise SAP environments.

It brings over 500 Kyndryl professionals focused on SAP applications, data, and AI.

The initiative is built around Kyndryl’s Agentic AI Framework and aims to reduce complexity, technical debt, and project timelines in SAP transformation programmes.

Clean Field and Clean Core Modernisation

A key focus of the CoE is SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration using a Clean Field approach.

This uses AI agents from Nova Intelligence and Kyndryl’s Data Transformation Suite to reduce legacy customisations and lower transformation effort.

For enterprises already running SAP S/4HANA, the CoE supports Clean Core modernisation programmes.

Agentic AI is used to analyse and modernise existing custom code, helping organisations adopt new SAP features while reducing manual effort.

The CoE also leverages SAP Business Data Cloud to unify enterprise data across SAP landscapes.

Integrated with Databricks, the platform supports AI model training, analytics, and governance.

Kyndryl has expanded its SAP partnership to support customers on the Journey to RISE with SAP.

It provides services for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition to help enterprises modernise SAP environments and migrate workloads to the cloud.

The SAP Transformations CoE builds on Kyndryl’s partnership with SAP and its recognition as a global RISE with SAP delivery partner.
