Nagarro partners Addverb to deliver integrated robotics automation for warehouses

Collaboration will combine software engineering, robotics hardware and digital twins for industrial and supply chain operations.

The man holds in his hand a jigsaw puzzle. Business solutions, success and strategy concept.

Nagarro and Addverb Technologies – a robotics and warehouse automation company based in Noida, India - have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly develop and deploy robotic automation and digital twin solutions for warehouse, manufacturing and industrial operations.

The partnership combines Nagarro’s software engineering and digital integration capabilities with Addverb’s robotics hardware and warehouse automation technologies.

The companies said they will jointly focus on delivering end-to-end automation systems for global customers, particularly across supply chain and industrial environments.

The collaboration signals growing enterprise demand for integrated automation platforms that combine software, robotics, infrastructure visibility and operational intelligence into a single deployment model.

As part of the agreement, the companies will work on joint solution development, IP co-creation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

They will explore setting up robotic experience centres and innovation-focused makerspaces aimed at accelerating experimentation and industrial automation development.

The companies plan to jointly pursue market opportunities across warehousing, manufacturing and supply chain operations through coordinated go-to-market strategies and mutual customer referrals.

Under the partnership structure, Nagarro will focus on software integration, digital engineering and platform capabilities, while Addverb will lead robotics deployment, automation systems and lifecycle support services.

The collaboration also centres around digital twins, which are increasingly becoming important in industrial automation and smart manufacturing environments.

Digital twins allow enterprises to create virtual models of warehouses, production environments and operational systems to improve monitoring, simulation and operational planning.

Demand shifting towards unified systems

The partnership possibly signals a shift in the industrial automation market, where enterprises are looking for unified systems rather than standalone robotics or software deployments.

As organisations modernise supply chain and manufacturing operations, integration between software platforms, automation infrastructure and operational data is becoming important.

The rise of AI-led industrial operations and Industry 4.0 initiatives is also driving demand for connected automation environments capable of supporting real-time monitoring, predictive analysis and operational optimisation.

For enterprises, warehouse and industrial automation projects are moving beyond hardware deployment into larger transformation engagements involving software integration, workflow orchestration and long-term operational support.

That shift could create broader services opportunities around integration, deployment, lifecycle management and industrial operations consulting.

Industrial automation vendors and digital engineering companies are forming ecosystem partnerships as enterprises demand integrated deployments spanning robotics, software platforms, analytics and operational infrastructure.

Warehouse automation is seeing increased enterprise investment as organisations attempt to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention and strengthen supply chain resilience.

The expansion of e-commerce, manufacturing modernisation and rising logistics complexity are also contributing to demand for intelligent automation systems across warehouses and industrial facilities.

As automation environments become more software-defined and data-driven, enterprises may rely on partners capable of integrating robotics systems with broader enterprise applications, operational platforms and AI-driven workflows.
