Oracle partners WEBEL for cloud and AI skilling in West Bengal
Aims to train 15,000 learners by 2029.
Oracle has partnered with West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited (WEBEL), a public sector company, to train 15,000 students and professionals in digital technologies by 2029.
The aim is to support workforce development in West Bengal across areas including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity and data science.
Oracle will provide each learner with over 200 hours of training and certification over the next three years.
The training will be delivered at no cost through Oracle MyLearn, the company’s digital learning and enablement platform.
Learners will receive foundational and professional-level training across Oracle technologies.
This includes Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle AI Services, OCI Generative AI, OCI Data Science, Oracle APEX, OCI DevOps and Oracle Security.
The programme will be delivered through Oracle University, which provides training and certification services for cloud and enterprise technologies.
