Pace Digitek expands AI data centre power portfolio through MEGMEET partnership

The agreement extends a five-year telecom power relationship into AI data centres, adding specialised power systems to Lineage Power's infrastructure portfolio.

Pace Digitek's wholly owned subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited (LPPL), has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with MEGMEET Electrical India to strengthen its AI data centre infrastructure business in India.

Under the agreement, MEGMEET will serve as LPPL's strategic supplier of AI data centre power systems and related products. The partnership also covers technical support, product upgrades, training and lifecycle after-sales services, while product supplies will be executed through mutually agreed purchase orders.

The agreement expands a business relationship of over five years between the two companies, which has so far focused on telecom power solutions.

With the new partnership, LPPL is extending that collaboration into AI data centre infrastructure as enterprises and service providers increase investments in AI-ready facilities.

The company will add AI data centre power systems to its existing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing and system integration portfolio.

The partnership marks LPPL's expansion into another critical layer of AI infrastructure.

While AI data centre investments have largely focused on servers, GPUs, networking and cooling technologies, power infrastructure has become equally important as organisations deploy larger AI workloads that require higher power density and continuous availability.

By adding AI data centre power systems to its portfolio, LPPL is broadening its capabilities to meet the power requirements of next-generation AI facilities.

The company already operates across the energy and telecom sectors through manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), and operations and maintenance services.

The addition of AI data centre power systems allows LPPL to build on its existing capabilities in energy infrastructure while addressing growing demand from AI-driven data centres.

Building on an existing partnership

Rather than forming a new relationship, the agreement builds on an existing partnership between LPPL and MEGMEET in telecom power solutions.

The companies will now extend that collaboration to AI infrastructure, with MEGMEET supplying specialised power systems and related products while supporting deployment through technical assistance, product upgrades and training.

The lifecycle support component is expected to help LPPL manage product performance and ongoing customer requirements after deployment.

MEGMEET specialises in power electronics and automation technologies, with products serving AI, industrial automation and e-mobility markets.

The company operates across multiple international markets, including India, Germany and Thailand, and is part of a global industrial technology group headquartered in China.

For LPPL, the partnership expands its infrastructure portfolio beyond energy storage and telecom power systems as demand grows for reliable and efficient power infrastructure in AI data centres.

Power systems are becoming an important part of AI deployments as organisations build high-performance computing environments that require stable power delivery, energy efficiency and high availability.
