Quick Heal brings IBM veteran Rajiv Sreekantan to strengthen Seqrite’s enterprise channel

Sreekantan will focus on enterprise growth, partner engagement and international expansion as Seqrite broadens its cybersecurity portfolio.

Quick Heal Technologies has appointed Rajiv Sreekantan as senior vice president – enterprise sales to strengthen Seqrite’s enterprise go-to-market strategy, expand its partner and channel ecosystem and drive growth across India and international markets.

Sreekantan will lead Seqrite’s enterprise sales teams globally, covering SMB, large enterprise, mid-market, government and PSU customers.

His mandate includes customer acquisition, retention and expansion, along with building a high-performance enterprise sales organisation. The appointment comes as Quick Heal looks to scale Seqrite beyond its traditional endpoint security business and build a broader enterprise cybersecurity portfolio.

Sreekantan joins Quick Heal after 26 years at IBM, where he held a series of sales, enterprise account and business leadership roles.

Most recently, he headed IBM’s Enterprise Storage business for India and South Asia, with responsibility for sales, business growth, portfolio strategy, partnerships and field marketing.

He has also led enterprise technology sales teams and complex customer engagements during his tenure at IBM, including large accounts across government and financial services.

Quick Heal CEO Harish Kumar G S said the company’s enterprise business is at an “important inflection point”, with recent wins across BFSI, defence and government creating larger opportunities for Seqrite.

“Our enterprise business is at an important inflection point. We have built strong momentum with key wins across BFSI, defence and government, and our expanding cybersecurity portfolio is opening up larger opportunities with customers,” Kumar said.

He said the next phase will focus on identifying where Seqrite has a right to win, strengthening its ecosystem and scaling these successes across India and international markets.

Seqrite expands beyond endpoint security

Seqrite has expanded its enterprise portfolio beyond endpoint security to include digital risk protection, threat management, ransomware recovery, data privacy and AI security.

The company said its portfolio is backed by threat intelligence from Seqrite Labs and will adress the security requirements of enterprises.

Its data privacy offering brings together compliance, data governance and protection capabilities, with the company targeting regulated industries and large digital environments.

For Quick Heal, the wider portfolio creates an opportunity to increase the scope of its enterprise engagements rather than remain focused on endpoint security.

Sreekantan said Seqrite has evolved from its endpoint protection roots into an end-to-end cybersecurity and data privacy stack.

“Seqrite has evolved from its roots in endpoint protection to building an end-to-end cybersecurity & data privacy stack for enterprises,” he said.

He said the immediate opportunity is to take these capabilities deeper into existing customers, win new strategic accounts and build stronger international markets.

The focus on existing customers is significant as Seqrite looks to use its expanded portfolio to increase the range of solutions it can offer to enterprise accounts.

Partners to support international expansion

International expansion will be another part of Sreekantan’s mandate, with Seqrite looking to deepen its presence across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and Europe.

The company said it is building on recent traction in these markets and plans to scale through stronger local partnerships, wider market reach and greater enterprise engagement.

This puts partners and the channel at the centre of Seqrite’s international expansion strategy, alongside its direct enterprise sales efforts.

Sreekantan said he will work with Seqrite’s teams, partners and customers as the company takes its enterprise business into new markets.

Quick Heal said the appointment will help build a scalable enterprise growth engine for Seqrite as it expands its international footprint and positions the business as a cybersecurity partner for enterprises globally.
