RAH Infotech adds 1Kosmos to expand identity security portfolio for partners

RAH Infotech has partnered with 1Kosmos to expand the availability of identity proofing and passwordless authentication technologies for enterprises across India.

Under the agreement, the value-added cybersecurity distributor will offer 1Kosmos' identity security platform to organisations across sectors including banking and financial services, government, healthcare, telecom, and IT and ITeS.

Enterprises in the country are facing growing identity-related security risks driven by credential theft, account takeover attacks, social engineering and AI-powered impersonation techniques.

Through the collaboration, RAH Infotech will provide access to 1Kosmos' portfolio of identity verification and authentication technologies, including identity proofing, passwordless authentication, document verification, liveness detection and adaptive access controls.

The platform will help organisations verify user identities before granting access to systems, applications and sensitive information.

Identity security has become an important area of focus for enterprises as hybrid work environments, remote onboarding processes and digital customer interactions continue to expand. At the same time, organisations are facing stricter requirements around access governance, data protection and compliance.

According to the companies, organisations continue to treat identity verification and authentication as separate processes, creating gaps that attackers can exploit. The 1Kosmos platform aims to address this by combining identity proofing and authentication within a single framework.

He said the partnership will expand access to digital identity proofing and passwordless authentication technologies for enterprises, customers and public sector organisations across India and South Asia.

The 1Kosmos platform includes passwordless authentication based on biometric verification and FIDO standards.

Additional capabilities include AI-powered identity proofing, document validation, liveness detection, workforce and customer identity management, privileged access protection and risk-based adaptive authentication.

The partnership reflects a shift in enterprise security strategies as organisations place identity at the centre of cybersecurity programmes.
