Rashi Peripherals Q1 Earnings: Expanding into higher-value technology segments to enhance growth quality, says CEO
Revenue rises 61.9 percent and profit grows 69.5 percent as Rashi strengthens enterprise technology capabilities through the VDA Infosolutions acquisition and a new WEKA partnership focused on AI, machine learning and high-performance computing.
Rashi Peripherals says its focus on expanding into higher-value technology segments and strengthening solutions capabilities is helping drive the next phase of growth, as the company delivered its strongest-ever quarterly financial performance in Q1 FY27.
The Mumbai-based technology distributor reported record revenue of ₹51,019 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up 61.9 percent year over year. Net profit rose 69.5 percent to ₹1,046 million, while EBITDA increased 50 percent to ₹1,553 million.
While the company reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit, management used the results to highlight a broader strategic shift toward enterprise technology, digital infrastructure and advanced technology solutions.
“Our strong start to FY27 reflects the continued success of our strategy to build a future-ready technology distribution and solutions business,” said Rashi Peripherals director and CEO, Rajesh Goenka.
“While our financial performance demonstrates the strength of our execution, we remain equally focused on enhancing the quality of our growth by expanding into higher-value technology segments and strengthening our solutions capabilities.”
One of the significant developments during the quarter was Rashi's acquisition of a 67 percent stake in VDA Infosolutions.
The company said the investment expands its presence in enterprise technology and digital infrastructure while strengthening its capabilities in higher-value technology segments.
Goenka described the acquisition as an important milestone in Rashi's transition from a traditional distribution-led business to a broader technology solutions organisation.
“A key milestone during the quarter was our strategic investment in VDA Infosolutions, which marks an important step in our evolution towards becoming an integrated technology solutions partner with enhanced enterprise capabilities,” he said.
The move reflects a wider strategy across the technology distribution ecosystem, where distributors are looking to participate in enterprise transformation projects, infrastructure deployments and solution-led engagements rather than relying solely on product distribution.
WEKA partnership strengthens AI and HPC portfolio
Alongside the VDA acquisition, Rashi added WEKA to its enterprise portfolio during the quarter.
The partnership expands the company's offerings across artificial intelligence, machine learning and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads, areas attracting increasing enterprise investment as organisations look to scale AI initiatives and modernise data infrastructure.
Goenka said the partnership strengthens Rashi's ability to address evolving enterprise requirements around advanced computing, AI-enabled environments and data-intensive workloads.
“Complementing this, our partnership with WEKA strengthens our portfolio in AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing, enabling us to address the evolving technology requirements of enterprise customers,” he said.
The addition of WEKA also broadens Rashi's reach into enterprise AI infrastructure at a time when organisations are increasing investments in AI-ready platforms and modern data environments.
Focus on higher-value technology segments
Management repeatedly highlighted the company's intent to deepen its presence in enterprise IT, semiconductor solutions and emerging technology markets.
Managing director Kapal Pansari said Rashi continues to invest in advanced technical capabilities and strategic partnerships aimed at expanding market opportunities and supporting the adoption of advanced technologies across India.
“As we strengthen our presence in enterprise IT, semiconductor solutions, and other emerging high-growth segments, we continue to invest in advanced technical capabilities and build meaningful strategic partnerships that expand our market opportunities,” Pansari said.
The company said its long-term objective is to evolve into an integrated solutions partner for both global technology vendors and enterprise customers while continuing to expand its role across the technology ecosystem.
Operational efficiency supports performance
Beyond revenue and profit growth, Rashi reported its highest annualised return on capital employed (ROCE) and return on equity (ROE) since listing.
The company attributed the performance to disciplined execution, operational efficiency and financial prudence.
Management said growth during the quarter was supported by continued expansion across business verticals, growing distribution reach, strategic investments in high-growth segments and sustained demand for ICT products and solutions.
Rashi also expanded its geographic footprint by opening new branches in Udaipur and Dhule during the quarter.
The bigger takeaway for channel partners may be the direction of the business rather than the record quarter itself.
Through its investment in VDA Infosolutions, expansion into enterprise technology and digital infrastructure, and growing focus on AI, machine learning and high-performance computing, Rashi is positioning itself for a larger role in India's evolving enterprise technology landscape.
