SoftServe has acquired India-based technology services company NewVision Software, strengthening its delivery capabilities in India as enterprise customers increasingly expand Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and AI transformation programmes.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition adds NewVision's capabilities in agentic assurance, product engineering and intelligent managed services to SoftServe's portfolio, while expanding the company's ability to support complex technology transformation programmes across global markets.

SoftServe CEO Harry Propper said the acquisition is part of the company's strategy to strengthen regional delivery capabilities while moving closer to customers.

"Our approach focuses on enabling grid modernisation and the long-term vision of autonomous grid operations through AI, digital twins, advanced simulation, and robotics to scale solutions into operational environments that can produce tangible business results," Propper said.

He added that acquiring NewVision enables SoftServe to strengthen its engineering capabilities while supporting customers across regions where they operate.

The company expects the combined organisation to improve its ability to deploy and integrate enterprise transformation initiatives into customers' day-to-day operations while increasing delivery capacity for large-scale programmes.

Through the acquisition, SoftServe aims to strengthen its ability to help customers implement AI and digital transformation initiatives across the full technology lifecycle.

The combined organisation will work closely with customers to integrate transformation programmes into long-term business strategies while providing greater operational continuity and responsiveness across global delivery engagements.

NewVision CEO Kapil Godani said the two companies share a common approach to combining engineering expertise with technology innovation.

"Together, we can offer clients broader capabilities, greater scale and the ability to accelerate AI initiatives with confidence, while continuing to provide the collaborative, hands-on partnership our teams are known for," Godani said.

Leadership and brand remain unchanged

Following the acquisition, NewVision will continue to operate under its existing name and brand as a wholly owned SoftServe company.

The company's leadership team, including CEO Kapil Godani and COO Balan Ramaswamy, will continue to lead the business, providing continuity for customers, employees and partners.

SoftServe currently employs over 10,000 people across 15 countries. The acquisition expands its engineering and delivery footprint in India at a time when enterprises are increasing investments in AI, software engineering and managed services to support global technology operations.

The deal also reflects a broader trend among global technology services firms to strengthen delivery capabilities in India as multinational customers expand their GCC operations and seek partners with local engineering expertise and scalable delivery capacity.

By adding NewVision's expertise in agentic assurance, product engineering and intelligent managed services, SoftServe is positioning itself to support larger enterprise transformation programmes while helping customers move AI initiatives from implementation to long-term operational adoption.
