SpaceXAI appoints Manish Jain to build India GTM as founding team member

The former Wiz and Palo Alto Networks sales leader joins as regional vice president, with a mandate to help build the company’s India business.

SpaceXAI has appointed Manish Jain as a founding team member and regional vice president for India GTM, as the company begins building its India business around enterprise AI adoption and a broader ecosystem of customers and partners.

Jain, who is based in Delhi, joins SpaceXAI after more than a decade at Palo Alto Networks and a stint at Wiz, where he was part of the founding India team.

His appointment gives SpaceXAI a GTM leader with experience in building enterprise and channel-led businesses across cybersecurity.

Jain will work with Midhun Chandra Babu on the India GTM effort, while also working with the wider APJ team as SpaceXAI builds its presence in the region.

His appointment comes as AI vendors look to India not only as a large enterprise market but also as a base for software development, digital services and technology innovation.

Jain's background across direct enterprise sales, regional GTM and ecosystem development gives SpaceXAI experience across both sides of that opportunity as it establishes its India business.

He said he is looking forward to “working with customers and partners” across the ecosystem as the company builds its India presence.

At Wiz, Jain served as regional sales director for India North and West from April 2025 until August 2026. He said he joined the company as a founding member of its India team and helped build the business from zero to more than 70 customers, while also developing its partner ecosystem.

Before Wiz, Jain spent more than 11 years at Palo Alto Networks, holding sales leadership roles covering enterprise, digital-native, mid-market, SMB, BFSI, public sector and service provider accounts across North and East India, as well as Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.

Building India GTM around AI adoption

In his announcement, Jain said India has an opportunity to move from being a major adopter of AI to becoming an exporter of AI capabilities.

He said the opportunity is supported by India's large software workforce and the pressure on businesses and technology teams to increase the pace of execution. According to Jain, the gap is the availability of an AI stack built for scale and simplicity.

Jain said SpaceXAI is focused on building tools that can help users "think, build, and ship", with the broader objective of enabling faster product development and helping Indian technology teams build products for global markets.

For the India market, the appointment also brings experience in building businesses and ecosystems from an early stage.

At Wiz, Jain said the India team grew the business from zero to over 70 customers and established a partner ecosystem. He described the experience as his second opportunity to build a cybersecurity business from the ground up.
