Tech Data, NetApp launch AI test drive centre in India to help partners build enterprise AI use cases
This will allow channel partners and enterprises to test AI proof-of-concepts on pre-built infrastructure before full-scale deployment.
Singapore-based Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX company, has partnered with NetApp to launch an AI test drive centre in India aimed at helping channel partners and enterprises test and deploy artificial intelligence solutions in real-world environments.
Named Tech Data India Experience Centre | NetApp Enabled, the facility is designed as an AI-focused Centre of Excellence (CoE) where partners and their customers can build, validate and launch AI-powered proof-of-concepts before moving to full-scale production.
The initiative is intended to reduce the complexity enterprises face when experimenting with AI by providing ready-made infrastructure and validated architecture.
Through the centre, partners will be able to test the feasibility and reliability of AI applications without having to build environments from scratch.
The launch comes as enterprises in India increasingly move beyond AI pilots toward production deployments, creating demand for infrastructure platforms that can support data-intensive AI workloads while ensuring scalability, security and operational reliability.
Under the collaboration, Tech Data will bring its Destination AI framework, which is designed to support partners throughout their AI adoption journey, from awareness and solution design to deployment and post-sales services.
The framework will help partners develop AI practices and deliver solutions aligned with enterprise requirements.
NetApp will contribute its enterprise data infrastructure and solutions portfolio, combining hardware and software capabilities to optimise AI workloads.
Its platforms are designed to help organisations manage and mobilise large volumes of data efficiently, enabling AI applications to operate with greater agility, scalability and security.
The collaboration will provide partners with pre-integrated infrastructure to test AI models and applications, allowing them to accelerate proof-of-concept development and reduce deployment risks for enterprise customers.
The centre will also support partner enablement initiatives.
Tech Data plans to extend its Digital Practice Builder programme to help partners develop AI skills and build capabilities across different stages of the technology lifecycle.
Such facilities are becoming increasingly important as organisations seek practical pathways to implement AI in business operations rather than limiting efforts to experimentation.
The launch of the Tech Data India Experience Center | NetApp Enabled builds on the long-standing global relationship between TD SYNNEX and NetApp, which spans over two decades and extends across over 100 countries.
With the new centre, the companies aim to give partners in India a hands-on environment to develop AI solutions, validate enterprise use cases and accelerate the transition from AI experimentation to measurable business outcomes.
