Tech Mahindra partners Fortinet to deliver managed SASE for enterprise network and security modernisation

Combines Fortinet’s Unified SASE platform with Tech Mahindra’s managed services to replace fragmented architectures and reduce MPLS dependence.

Cloud Computing Data Center Multi Cloud Hybrid Cloud Information Storage Cyber Security Encryption Edge Computing Data Lake Tech Mahindra has partnered with Fortinet to deliver a managed Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution, targeting enterprises modernising network and security infrastructure across hybrid and cloud environments.

The offering combines Tech Mahindra’s managed network and security services with Fortinet’s Unified SASE platform.

The aim is to deliver an integrated architecture across connectivity and protection.

The solution brings together SD-WAN, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and advanced threat protection into a single framework, replacing fragmented network and security deployments.

It will support enterprise environments spanning cloud, SaaS and on-premises infrastructure, along with distributed and remote workforces.

Tech Mahindra’s global business head – network services, Abhishek Malhotra, said, “As enterprises accelerate cloud adoption and embrace hybrid work, the burden of fragmented network architecture and operational complexity has become a critical hurdle.”

“Through our partnership with Fortinet, Tech Mahindra is addressing this challenge by delivering a unified Managed Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution. It integrates secure connectivity, zero-trust network access and advanced protection into a single, scalable framework, empowering organizations to modernise their networks and drive business agility with confidence,” Malhotra added.

Tech Mahindra will deliver the solution as a managed service, backed by 24x7 security operations centres, proactive threat hunting and AI-driven threat intelligence.

The companies are positioning the offering to simplify network architecture while maintaining consistent security controls and user experience across locations.

Targets MPLS reduction and cost optimisation

The managed SASE model is aimed at reducing enterprise reliance on MPLS-based networks, while enabling more flexible and scalable connectivity across branch offices and edge locations.

It also focuses on lowering total cost of ownership through centralised policy management and integrated operations.

Fortinet’s U.S. channel sales, vice president, Landon Scott, said, “Enterprises are looking to simplify infrastructure, lower operational costs, and securely support hybrid work.”

“Our partnership with Tech Mahindra delivers a managed Unified SASE solution that replaces fragmented architectures with integrated networking and security, helping customers achieve significant efficiency gains while strengthening their security posture,” Scott added.

The solution supports network expansion across distributed environments without adding operational complexity, a key requirement as enterprises scale hybrid work and cloud adoption.

For Tech Mahindra, the partnership strengthens its managed network services portfolio by adding an integrated SASE layer across connectivity and security.

For Fortinet, the collaboration expands the reach of its Unified SASE platform through a managed services delivery model, aligned with enterprise demand for simplified deployment and operations.
