Triveni Power partners Salesforce to modernise customer engagement and sales operations

The company will deploy Agentforce Sales and Agentforce Service to unify customer data, improve forecasting and strengthen business visibility.

Triveni Power Transmission Limited (TPTL) has selected Salesforce to modernise customer engagement and sales operations as part of its broader digital transformation strategy.

The industrial power transmission manufacturer will deploy Agentforce Sales and Agentforce Service to create a unified platform for managing customer information, sales activities and service operations. The move aims to improve business visibility, strengthen collaboration across teams and support faster, data-driven decision-making.

According to the company, the implementation will give employees access to real-time customer insights, improve opportunity tracking and enhance business forecasting through a single integrated platform.

TPTL is also bringing sales, tender and bid management, business forecasting, customer requirements and service priorities onto a common digital platform.

The company expects this to improve execution and customer responsiveness by giving teams a unified view of customer engagements across the business.

The platform will connect customer interactions with downstream processes, including manufacturing, delivery, invoicing and after-sales service. By linking these functions, TPTL aims to achieve end-to-end visibility across its value chain and improve coordination between customer-facing and operational teams.

The deployment also includes AI-powered analytics that will help leadership identify growth opportunities, anticipate market trends and manage business risks. The company said the implementation lays the foundation for future AI-enabled sales and customer intelligence capabilities.

TPTL director Tarun Sawhney said digital transformation is a strategic priority as the company prepares for its next phase of growth.

"As TPTL enters its next phase of growth, our focus is on building an institution that is globally competitive, operationally resilient and ready to scale with discipline. Digital transformation is a strategic priority in this journey, not only to strengthen systems and governance, but also to create a more agile and insight-led organisation," Sawhney said.

He added that the collaboration with Salesforce reflects the company's commitment to investing in platforms that support long-term competitiveness and sustainable growth.

Visibility and consistency across the customer lifecycle

The company expects the unified platform to improve collaboration between business functions by making customer information available through a single system.

This will enable teams to respond faster to customer requirements while improving forecasting accuracy and execution across projects.

TPTL CEO, Rajiv Rajpal, said customer-centricity remains a key focus as the company expands its presence across industries and geographies.

According to Rajpal, Salesforce will provide visibility and consistency across the customer lifecycle, from opportunity identification and tender management to project execution and after-sales support.

"This will help us strengthen relationships, improve business predictability, and deliver a more seamless experience to our customers," he said.

For leadership teams, access to AI-powered insights and advanced analytics will help improve business planning by providing visibility into customer demand, sales opportunities and market trends. The integrated platform will also help identify potential business risks earlier and support more informed decision-making.

Salesforce said industrial manufacturers are using AI, data and automation to strengthen customer engagement and improve business performance. The company believes connected customer data and intelligent insights will help organisations streamline operations while improving responsiveness across the customer lifecycle.

Salesforce India managing director, Mankiran Chowhan, said organisations are using technology to connect data, intelligence and customer engagement to drive business growth.

"We're excited to partner with Triveni Power as they transform customer experiences and unlock new growth opportunities," Chowhan said.

The collaboration is another enterprise deployment of Salesforce's Agentforce platform in India's manufacturing sector as companies continue to invest in AI-enabled sales, customer service and business operations to improve efficiency and support long-term growth.
