Zoom appoints Arijit Dey as channel leader to drive partner-led AI and CX growth in India & SAARC
The company plans to deepen partner engagement and create new opportunities around AI, UCaaS and contact centre solutions across the region.
Zoom has appointed Arijit Dey as channel leader for India and SAARC as the company looks to expand partner-led growth across AI-powered collaboration and customer experience solutions.
Dey will lead Zoom's channel strategy across the region, with a focus on strengthening partner engagement, accelerating channel-led growth and helping partners deliver business outcomes through the company's AI-powered portfolio.
Before joining Zoom, he served as director of strategic partnerships at Genesys, where he helped drive contact centre-as-a-service (CCaaS) growth through collaborations with service providers, global systems integrators and customer experience partners.
Zoom's head of APAC partners, Jacob Pereira, said the partner ecosystem remains central to how the company brings its technologies to customers across India and SAARC.
“Arijit brings deep channel expertise and a strong track record of building strategic alliances that drive growth. As organisations increasingly look to AI to improve how work gets done, his leadership will help our partners deliver greater value to customers and capture new opportunities,” Pereira added.
Organisations across India and SAARC look to use AI to improve employee and customer experiences, streamline operations and drive business outcomes.
Dey brings over 24 years of experience across enterprise sales, business development and strategic partnerships in the technology and telecommunications sectors.
Expanding partner opportunities
Under Dey's leadership, Zoom plans to further strengthen its channel-first strategy through its Zoom Up Partner Program.
Commenting on his appointment, Dey said, “I am excited to join Zoom and work alongside our partners across India and SAARC to help organisations embrace modern, AI-powered collaboration and customer experience solutions.”
“Zoom has built a strong reputation for innovation and partner success, and I look forward to working with, empowering, and growing this ecosystem to further strengthen Zoom’s presence in the market,” he added.
The company said it will continue to invest in partner tools, streamlined processes, engagement opportunities and access to its growing portfolio of workplace, customer experience and AI-powered solutions.
Partners will also have opportunities to expand around solutions including Zoom Workplace, Zoom Phone, Zoom Contact Centre, Zoom Events and Zoom's AI capabilities.
Zoom is positioning partners to play a larger role in helping customers adopt AI-powered technologies for the workplace and customer experience.
The company said organisations in the region are looking beyond productivity gains and exploring how AI can improve customer and employee experiences, support faster decision-making and deliver stronger business outcomes.
According to Sameer Raje, general manager and head of India and SAARC at Zoom, “partners will continue to play a critical role” in helping customers realise value from AI investments.
The company views India and SAARC as a key growth region and plans to continue investing in the ecosystem supporting customers across the market.
