New Relic unveils new AI changes to its partner program
The observability company brings enhancements to bring additional profitability to its partners.
Observability platform New Relic has enhanced its partner program to help fuel business growth for its partner ecosystem and to unlock agentic AI use cases.
The updates to its program include stronger incentives for partners to enhance profitability, new and simplified certifications and digital tools, expanded dedicated partner resources, enhanced training opportunities, and new specialized program tracks.
Simon Lee, senior vice president and managing director, APAC and Japan at New Relic told CRN Australia this partner program emphasizes partner value and performance.
He noted this program will provide more attractive incentives, particularly for partner-sourced opportunities and rewarding consumption growth.
“Partners can access discounts, access to deal registration for new customer deals, on-demand training and access to the partner portal,” he said.
“The program is designed to make partners’ interactions with New Relic predictable and consistent, whilst operating with simplicity.”
The new additions to this program help partners embrace AI, through an expanded AI-focused sales enablement for solution providers.
New Relic offers agentic AI integrations to bring critical observability data and intelligent recommendations directly to IT teams and developers across the business and tech ecosystem.
Some of these integrations include Amazon Q Business, GitHub Copilot for Microsoft Azure, Google Gemini, and ServiceNow.
The company also announced an observability integration with DeepSeek to accelerate AI ROI and adoption.
Commenting on New Relic’s AI offerings, Lee said, “New Relic's enhanced partner program also empowers partners to leverage the opportunities provided by AI, with expanded AI-focused sales enablement for solution providers.”
Additional benefits
In terms of financial incentives, Lee said they will vary depending on tiers.
"On average, New Relic’s partner program will offer partners improved profitability margins by 5-10 percent,” he added.
Lee said the changes in this program have been driven by what their partners have told them what they want, which is increased profitability, predictability and simplicity.
“Compared to other programs available in the market, we believe we have set a new bar in delivering what’s important to partners,” he explained.
“The program is customer-centric and inclusive, with the entire partner ecosystem represented, including marketplaces.
“And unlike other complicated partner programs, New Relic’s enhanced partner program comprises just two tiers (authorized and certified) to provide partners with increased margins and improved profitability.”
Other enhancements include new and simplified partner certifications, expanded partner team resources, expanded training opportunities, and specialized partner program tracks.
Juan Carlos Martínez, senior director at MSP NTT Data said our customers aim to leverage AIOps to optimize IT operations, enhance efficiency, and proactively mitigate disruptions.
“However, they face challenges in identifying the most impactful tools and strategies to maximize their observability investments. Having the opportunity to deliver to our customers the New Relic Intelligent Observability Platform gives us an edge as it solves these challenges.
“I’m confident that New Relic, its enhanced partner team and program resources, will set us up to be valuable AI partners to current and future customers.”
The New Relic Partner Program recently earned the 5-Star Award in the 2025 CRN Partner Program Guide.
