Tech Data and Dell Technologies to drive AI adoption in Singapore
The collaboration delivers comprehensive AI solutions portfolio, backed by partner support through Tech Data’s Destination AI program.
Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX Company, and Dell Technologies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate access in Singapore to the Dell AI Factory as well as its portfolio of products, solutions and services optimized for AI workloads.
With Singapore at the forefront of AI adoption in the region, more organizations are expected to move beyond proof of concepts in their use cases to deployment. At the same time, organizations are also looking to develop use cases that are capable of bringing more value to their business and customers.
As such, the agreement will see Tech Data establish a Center of Excellence to showcase use cases with Dell AI Factory solutions demonstrations. Tech Data will also collaborate with leading Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to deliver pre-validated, end-to-end AI solutions. These offerings seamlessly combine Dell’s advanced infrastructure with optimized software, simplifying AI deployments for partners and empowering them to engage customers confidently and address evolving market needs.
Furthermore, Tech Data’s Destination AI program will further support partners with training, technical guidance, and pre- and post-sales services, accelerating their AI readiness and driving sustainable business growth.
According to Mark Tan, Vice President and Country General Manager, Tech Data Singapore and Tec D Malaysia, the collaboration with Dell Technologies to bring Dell AI Factory capabilities to customers is an exciting opportunity.
“Aligned with our Destination AI program, this initiative will empower our partners with advanced AI capabilities, opening doors to new opportunities and helping businesses transform through innovation,” said Tan.
Tech Data will also onboard additional ISVs, enhancing the Dell AI Factory with specialized software solutions that complement Dell’s technology to further strengthen the AI ecosystem. By doing this, customers will have access to a broader set of AI-ready solutions and ensure greater adaptability to the unique needs of various industries.
For Manish Gupta, Regional Partner Ecosystem Leader, Asia Pacific Japan & China at Dell Technologies, the continued collaboration underscores Dell’s commitment to streamline AI adoption, offering enterprises in the region innovative and integrated solutions, along with comprehensive support to implement and scale their AI projects.
“Dell’s end-to-end AI capabilities serve as a core differentiator, enabling businesses to realize the full value from AI while mitigating risk and reducing overall costs,” said Gupta.
In a separate conversation with CRN Asia, Gupta also mentioned that Dell Technologies will continue to focus on enabling the AI ecosystem in the region in 2025. This includes ensuring partners are enabled to provide customers with the desired outcomes in their AI journey.
“Given the opportunities in the region, we want to ensure we can enable our partners to be a trusted advisor for customers in their AI journey. Customers want use cases that can give them ROI. They want to move from proof of concepts to production. And we are ensuring that through our partners by bringing our AI labs and AI factory to get it going,” added Gupta.
