Nebula Global Services opens APAC hub in Singapore

The Singapore business hub is in response to the growth in demand for Nebula’s services in the Asia Pacific region.

The Asia Pacific (APAC) region continues to experience exponential growth in technology adoption. With AI leading the tech investments businesses are making in the region, the infrastructure that supports this demand needs to grow as well. In 2024 alone, Asia Pacific has witnessed several large investments being announced to support its growth.

From data centers to cybersecurity, each sector are key enablers to the tech ecosystem. According to a study by IDC, the APAC’s region’s acceleration in adopting AI and generative AI technologies, including software, services and hardware is projected to reach US$110 billion by 2028. This surge not only highlights the region’s critical influence in shaping the future of AI innovation and driving technological progress on a global scale but also the opportunities that are available for technology vendors and partners in the region.

At the core of these developments is sustainability. As the world move towards sustainable development, it is imperative that businesses prioritize their development plans, with sustainability on the agenda as well.

To support this, Nebula Global Services, a leading global sustainable technology services firm is expanding its presence in APAC with the opening of its new APAC business hub in Singapore. With existing business hubs in the UK, Tampa, FL, and Mumbai, the launch of its APAC hub aligns with Nebula’s global strategy to ensure it has in-region presence from both a sales and operations perspective in order to maintain a first-class customer experience.

With an ecosystem of over 7,400 technical and service delivery specialists, Nebula provides local expertise, knowledge, and resources. The partnerships they foster allow customers to leverage the strengths of local skills while benefiting from their understanding of regional markets, cultural nuances, and regulatory landscapes.

For Ross Teague, CEO and founder of Nebula Global Services, the opening of the new business hub in Singapore is a watershed moment for the company, as it marks the start of their journey into a region which they have been supporting for many years from afar.

“The launch of our APAC business hub gives us the solid foundations to build on in order to achieve our ambitious growth plans in that region,” said Teague.

In a conversation with CRN Asia, Richard Eglon, the CMO for Nebula explained that they’ve built a network of delivery partners in Singapore and other cities in the region that can pretty much deploy a lot of projects and do a lot of maintenance, just like the bigger players in the region. He added that Nebula has also seen opportunities in Japan and Korea, where they’re a big part of the Service Industry Association.

“We want to be out there meeting people and giving them the reassurance that we’re not just a UK business. We are truly a global operation. We are kick-starting our strategy and accelerating it in APAC,” said Eglon.

Eglon also mentioned that Nebula will be looking to grow its influence on the SME and MSP reseller market which is a huge opportunity in Southeast Asia. Elgon believes these markets move quicker, especially when it comes to making key decisions.

With that said, Nebula will also be enhancing its services portfolio as it to pivot its traditional Professional Services (PS) business to a 50/50 blend of PS and annuity-based Managed Services. This is in response to market dynamics where channel partners want Nebula to apply the same governance and quality associated to their PS-related business to a broader range of channel-focused Managed Services.

Leading the growth in the region will be John Oh, VP Sales for APAC. Recently appointed, Oh is excited to be joining Nebula at this pivotal stage of its evolution.

“The APAC market continues to grow, and in many cases, outperform many other global markets. I believe Nebula has a unique ‘as-an-Outcome’ approach to IT services which is already being well received across the region. By leveraging my contact book and knowledge of the APAC market we are at the start of a very exciting journey,” commented Oh.

“Having known John for many years, and admiring his achievements across several other roles, he was the obvious choice to lead our APAC Go-To-Market plan. Already, he has hit the road running and is demonstrating why he is the perfect catalyst to accelerate our APAC growth strategy,” added Teague.
