Westcon-Comstor to distribute Cloudflare solutions in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore

Agreement will drive adoption of Cloudflare’s Zero Trust and connectivity solutions in key Asian markets.

Organizations in Southeast Asia continue to invest in improving their cybersecurity as cybercriminals continue to wreak havoc on them. The challenge is, however, knowing which areas they should focus on more when it comes to securing their organizations.

This is where cybersecurity partners play a role in ensuring businesses are aware of the vulnerabilities and weaknesses in their organization’s cybersecurity framework. Picking the right partner is also crucial in ensuring they have a holistic cybersecurity protection that is proactive.

As such, global technology provider and specialist distributor Weston-Comstor has signed an agreement with Cloudflare to distribute the connectivity cloud company’s comprehensive suite of security and performance solutions in key Southeast Asia markets.

While Cloudflare already has a strong presence in the region, by combining Westcon-Comstor’s partner network, both companies will be able to provide businesses in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore with unparalleled access to advanced security and performance solutions. This includes cloud cybersecurity products, DDoS mitigation and connectivity solutions like Cloudflare One.

According to Wilson Ho, Managing Director in Asia at Westcon-Comstor, by harnessing the power of the Cloudflare technology portfolio and empowering channel partners through its value-added services spanning education, enablement, training and data-driven sales and marketing campaigns, Westcon-Comstor can give more organizations access to leading security and performance solutions that are crucial in today’s digital landscape

“We are thrilled about this partnership which allows us to distribute market leading Cloudflare solutions. This collaboration will empower businesses in the three countries to enhance their security posture and ensure seamless connectivity, while creating significant growth opportunities for partners,” said Ho.

Specifically, Westcon-Comstor and Cloudflare will work together to provide robust cybersecurity and network performance enhancements starting with the Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore markets. The partnership is set to drive digital transformation, enhance operational efficiency, and support the growth of a secure and resilient digital economy in the region.

For Wendy Komadina, Vice President, Partner Sales, Asia Pacific at Cloudflare, Westcon-Comstor’s extensive distribution network and expertise in the region will enable them to scale the business and deliver Cloudflare’s cutting-edge security and performance solutions to a broader audience, helping businesses to thrive in a secure and connected digital environment.

Meanwhile, Tom Evans, Chief Partner Officer at Cloudflare welcomed Westcon-Comstor into the PowerUP program, which he believes will further strengthen their partner ecosystem.

“Their addition brings invaluable expertise and resources that will enhance the support we provide to our partners, driving growth and innovation across the community. By working together, we ensure that our partners are equipped to deliver the best solutions, creating lasting value for our customers and fostering success in today’s fast-paced and increasingly interconnected business landscape,” said Evans.

Weston-Comstor also recently announced a strong performance in cybersecurity and software sales for the first half of the year. David Grant, CEO at Westcon-Comstor, also mentioned that the success would mean the distributor would be looking to expand its business opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.
