Alibaba Cloud partners IMDA to accelerate AI and cloud adoption for Singapore SMEs and Solutions Providers

Alibaba Cloud and IMDA to enable AI adoption for 3,000 local SMEs and digital solution providers.

Alibaba Cloud has partnered the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA to help accelerate the digital transformation of up to 3,000 local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and digital solutions providers through the adoption of cloud technologies and AI.

The Alibaba Cloud Digital Accelerator Program is in support of Singapore’s Digital Enterprise Blueprint (DEB), which seeks to enable Singapore enterprises to leverage emerging technologies such as cloud and AI to innovate, grow, and remain competitive in a digital economy.

With SMEs representing 99% of Singapore’s enterprises, the program aims to unlock their potential by providing tailored cloud and AI resources, technical training, and marketing support to help them innovate, scale, and create new business opportunities. Up to 3,000 SMEs and digital solution providers will benefit from a comprehensive package of resources and expertise designed to accelerate their adoption of cloud and AI technologies.

Benefits from the program include cloud credits for eligible participants to be used for most Alibaba Cloud services as well as access to AI and technical training with Alibaba Cloud’s proprietary Qwen large language model (LLM) and its GenAI development platform, Model Studio. Alibaba Cloud will also conduct events to raise awareness and promote the adoption of cloud and AI technologies among SMEs.

The launch of the Alibaba Cloud Digital Accelerator Program comes as Alibaba Cloud celebrates its tenth year in Singapore, a milestone reflecting the company’s long-standing commitment to supporting the nation’s digital ambitions.
