Thinking Machines Data Science becomes OpenAI’s first official Services Partners in APAC
AI consultancy firm Thinking Machines Data Science will offer comprehensive ChatGPT Enterprise enablement and Agentic AI App design for executives and organizations in the region through the partnership.
Thinking Machines Data Science will be working with OpenAI to accelerate enterprise AI adoption across the APAC region. The AI consultancy firm is also the first official Services Partners for OpenAI in the region. The collaboration will see Thinking Machines enable comprehensive ChatGPT Enterprise training, along with Agentic AI implementation services to executives and organizations.
With a majority of APAC enterprises still struggling in translating their AI adoption into business value, Thinking Machines, with the support of OpenAI, aims to deliver targeted hands-on training programs, customized implementation frameworks, and the design and deployment of bespoke Agentic AI apps utilizing OpenAI’s Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
According to Stephanie Sy, Founder and CEO of Thinking Machines, the markets in APAC are showing remarkable momentum in AI adoption, underscoring the region’s readiness to embrace enterprise-grade solutions.
“Through our collaboration with OpenAI, we’re not just bringing in new technology but we’re helping organisations build the skills, strategies, and support systems they need to take advantage of AI. For us, it’s about reinventing the future of work through human-AI collaboration and making AI truly work for people across the Asia Pacific Region,” said Sy.
For OpenAI, the partnership aligns with its broader APAC expansion strategy. Last year, OpenAI established its regional headquarters in Singapore and is now also planning to open its first outpost in Sydney, Australia. Interestingly, Singapore also has the highest per-capita ChatGPT usage rates globally, highlighting the country’s readiness for advanced AI solutions.
“Across Asia Pacific, we are seeing business leaders eager to unlock new productivity gains and venture into innovative use cases with AI. This initiative with Thinking Machines will give leaders the know-how and hands-on support to embed our latest GPT-5 model into their daily operations, helping them move from experimentation to impact”, commented Andy Brown, Head of Go-to-Market, Asia Pacific for OpenAI.
