JumpCloud appoints Malaysian-based CBO to drive strategic growth
Sumesh Rahavendra has been appointed as JumpCloud’s new chief business officer (CBO).
JumpCloud has appointed Sumesh Rahavendra as its new chief business officer (CBO). With over two decades of experience in the tech industry, Rahavendra will be focus on scaling JumpCloud’s global business operations, optimize internal efficiencies and significantly enhance the customer experience.
A strategic addition to the company's executive leadership team, Rahavendra’s appointment underpins JumpCloud's aggressive growth trajectory by fostering a truly frictionless environment for internal teams and a rapidly expanding customer base.
Prior to his new role, Rahavendra was the Group Chief Digital & Transformation Officer at Pos Malaysia. In that role, he orchestrated the reinvention of a 200-year-old organization, enabling significant digital product, technology, and strategic overhauls.
With experience across SaaS, e-commerce, and digital transformation, his other previous roles include leading Customer Experience at the high-growth startup Swiggy (India) and served as General Manager for Amazon (Germany, Spain). With 11 years spent at DHL as well, he has demonstrated a consistent track record of scaling operations and enhancing user journeys.
According to Rajat Bhargava, CEO, JumpCloud, Rahavendra is a proven operator with a unique ability to translate strategic vision into tangible outcomes that directly benefit JumpCloud’s customers and internal processes.

Rahavendra will be based in Kuala Lumpur for his new role.
