“We are at an exciting juncture as the region advances on its AI growth, with Singapore’s National AI Strategy 2.0 and the Philippines’ National AI Roadmap. Tapping on NetApp’s 30 years of innovation and expertise, I am eager to help businesses become more innovative and resilient in today’s era of data and intelligence,” said Poh.
With over two decades of experience in the IT industry, Poh has a solid background in storage, AI and big data. With organizations continuing to focus their investments in deploying AI, data management remains imperative to not only ensure smooth deployment but also ensure data is used properly. According to NetApp’s 2024 Data Complexity Report, half (49%) of the technology executives in Singapore see investment in data management and infrastructure as a top priority. As such, to ensure long-term success in their AI endeavors, organizations will need greater commitment and resources to address mounting challenges of data complexity, security and sustainability.
