NetApp hires ASEAN Leader to accelerate business momentum
The strategic appointment underscores NetApp’s commitment to driving intelligent data transformation across a digitally accelerating ASEAN region.
NetApp has appointed Angeline Lim as Senior Director for ASEAN to lead the data infrastructure vendor’s business across key ASEAN markets. Lim will also focus on strengthening customer and partner relationships and driving growth across NetApp’s portfolio of data management solutions.
The appointment not only reaffirms NetApp’s commitment to helping enterprises unlock the full value of their data in the region, but also in enabling businesses in the region to harness data to drive their AI ambitions. This includes leveraging NetApp’s Intelligent Data Infrastructure and building AI-ready foundations across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Commenting on her appointment, Lim said she is thrilled to be joining NetApp at a pivotal moment, as organizations across ASEAN recognize the need for intelligent data infrastructure to power AI-driven transformation.
“NetApp’s strength in unifying data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments is critical to how businesses are reshaping their IT strategies. I look forward to working closely with our customers and partners to deliver long-term, sustainable growth and unlock real competitive advantage through data,” added Lim.
With over two decades of experience in enterprise technology sales and regional business development, Lim was most recently Oracle’s Senior Director for Oracle Cloud Mid-Market ASEAN & SAGE. In that role, Lim led go-to-market strategy across 12 markets for one of Oracle’s fastest-growing cloud businesses.
Prior to that, Lim also held senior leadership roles at Informatica, Actuate, and Sterling Commerce. Her proven track record in executing cloud transformation across regulated industries positions her well to lead NetApp’s regional expansion.
“We are delighted to welcome Angeline to NetApp. Her experience driving business outcomes, building high-performance teams, and her deep understanding of ASEAN’s enterprise landscape make her the ideal leader to accelerate our momentum,” said Henry Kho, Area Vice President and General Manager, Greater China, ASEAN and South Korea, NetApp.
Kho believes that with Lim now at the helm, NetApp will be able to double down its mission to turn data infrastructure into a driver of innovation, resilience, and growth for its customers.
