Nutanix appoints Devan Parinpanayagam as Country Manager for Malaysia
Devan Parinpanayam joins Nutanix at the country manager for Malaysia, having previously served as country manager for VMware from 2018 t0 2022.
Nutanix has appointed Devan Parinpanayagam as Country Manager for Malaysia. An industry veteran, Parinpanayagam will focus in helping customers in the coutry achieve their vision of running applications and data anywhere while leveraging the Nutanix Cloud Platform.
Prior to his new role, Parinpanayagam was Managing Director for Telcowin. Before that, he was Executive Managing Director at Ingram Micro for about two years. At VMware, Parinpanayagam was country manager for VMware Malaysia from 2018 t0 2022 and had senior roles in Microsoft, Fujitsu, Maxis, Cisco and Avaya.
In a LinkedIn post, Parinapayagam thanked the Nutanix leadership for placing their trust in him and presenting him with this amazing opportunity.
Nutanix has continued to experience significant growth in the region over the past few years. Not only has the demand for the Nutanix Cloud Platform increased, but customers are also relying on Nutanix as they make the move away from VMware due to the increasing renewal pricing.
In its third quarter financial results announcement, Rajiv Ramaswami, President and CEO of Nutanix stated that the vendor “delivered solid third quarter results, above the high end of guided ranges, driven by the strength of the Nutanix Cloud Platform and demand from businesses looking for a trusted long-term partner.”
“Our recent announcements around support for external storage, modern applications, and generative AI reflect our continued focus on driving innovation and broadening our partnerships to further enhance the value proposition of the Nutanix Cloud Platform,” added Ramaswami.
The leader in hybrid multicloud computing also recently announced the general availability of the latest version of the Nutanix Enterprise AI (NAI) solution, adding deeper integration with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, including NVIDIA NIM microservices and the NVIDIA NeMo framework, to speed the deployment of Agentic AI applications in the enterprise.
