Palo Alto Networks’ Steven Scheurmann moves to CrowdStrike

Steven Scheurmann joins CrowdStrike as its new Vice President for Southeast Asia and North Asia (SENA).

Steven Scheurmann has joined CrowdStrike as its new Vice President for Southeast Asia and North Asia (SENA). The joins the cybersecurity vendor after a three-year stint as Vice President for ASEAN at Palo Alto Networks.

In a LinkedIn post, Scheurmann stated that his role will see him responsible for the development and execution of overarching sales strategies at CrowdStrike. He will also lead and mentor sales teams as well as oversee revenue targets.

Scheurmann will also be collaborating with CrowdStrike’s partner ecosystem to drive growth and profitability. Ultimately, he states his new role is to stop breaches while proactively realising the benefits of digitization without the risk.

A prominent figure in the industry in the region, Scheurmann also had roles at KPMG, IBM and Symantec. In his previous role at Palo Alto Networks, Scheurmann oversaw the vendor’s business in the region, driving revenue growth and market momentum, to building the overall strategy.

With more than three decades of experience, Scheurmann has a solid track record of enabling public and private sector organizations through their digital transformation and cybersecurity journeys.

Scheurmann joins CrowdStrike at a crucial time as the cybersecurity vendor continues to grow its presence in the Asia Pacific region.

The vendor recorded a total revenue of US$1.17 billion, for its second quarter fiscal year 2026, a 21% increase, compared to US$963.9 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2025. Its subscription revenue was US$1.10 billion, a 20% increase, compared to US$918.3 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2025.
