Vertiv celebrates regional partners success

“We recently signed on new partners, such as VST ECS in the Philippines, Leaders Systems in Korea, and Tec D in Malaysia, and we are still continuously reaching out to valuable partners throughout the region,” Daniel Sim, senior director for IT distribution and partners for Vertiv Asia said.

Vertiv recently gathered over 250 channel leaders and partners across Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, South Korea, and Japan for the 2025 Asia Channel Summit in Vietnam to innovate, collaborate and empower its partner ecosystem to lead a rapidly evolving digital world.

The provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions vendor called on partners to be at the forefront and respond to disruption in the sector. Given the increasing demand and deployments of AI, cloud computing, and edge across Asia, Vertiv spotlighted the critical role its wide network of partners continues to play in enabling next-generation infrastructure and responding to changing customer demands.

According to Daniel Sim, senior director for IT distribution and partners for Vertiv Asia, the Asia Channel Summit is where innovation takes flight. He believes it’s a space to spark ideas, build strategic connections, and define the future of digital infrastructure.

“Our partners are more than participants — they are catalysts. Vertiv is here to support them with breakthrough technologies, expert insights, and a shared vision to lead the AI-driven era,” Sim said.

Speaking to CRN Asia, Sim added that Vertiv partners are a key part of the Vertiv business across Asia as well as globally.

“Vertiv is continuously looking at expanding our partner network to grow our footprint and serve more customers in the region. In fact, we recently signed on new partners, such as VST ECS in the Philippines, Leaders Systems in Korea, and Tec D in Malaysia, and we are still continuously reaching out to valuable partners throughout the region,” he said.

Sim also pointed out that the installed data center power capacity in APAC is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 14.2%, reaching 94.4 gigawatts by 2028, and many of the region’s fastest-growing data center markets such as Australia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, are grappling with how to meet power demands and scale sustainably .

“As the data center industry expands, Vertiv continues to work with our partners to address challenges such as the need to achieve sustainability goals, efficiency, government regulations, and emerging technology trends,” Sim added.

For Sim, Vertiv is committed to supporting its partners with continuous enablement sessions and technical training to ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge on the latest data center and technology innovations. He explained that Vertiv regularly conducts partner training and tech talk sessions to ensure there is continuous knowledge transfer to its partners.
