FPT achieves milestones in partnerships with Databricks and Microsoft

FPT has been recognized as a Select Tier Partner of Databricks as well as a Microsoft Fabric Featured Partner and Microsoft Advanced Specialization in Analytics on Azure

FPT has been recognized as a Select Tier Partner of Databricks. The Vietnamese-headquartered globally leading technology and IT services provider is among the very few in the Asia Pacific region to achieve this tier.

FPT believes the achievement recognizes its growing capabilities in the region, especially in its capabilities to deliver modern data platforms, scalable AI solutions, and enterprise analytics to customers.

As the second-highest level in the Databricks partner ecosystem, the Select Tier recognises partners who demonstrate a strong track record of expertise, delivery capability and alignment with Databricks technologies. FPT achieved this status through significant investment in talent development, with nearly 100 technical certifications and over 40 certifications in pre-sales and leadership roles across its team.

With the recognition, FPT will have access to a range of exclusive benefits from Databricks, including expert training, enhanced technical support and closer sales collaboration. These advantages enable FPT to offer even greater value to enterprise clients, especially in key sectors such as banking, manufacturing, and retail, who are pursuing large-scale data transformation.

Greg Taylor, Vice President of Partners, APJ, Databricks congratulated FPT for achieving the Databricks Select Tier Partner status. Taylor commented that the milestone reflects their growing leadership in delivering enterprise-grade data and AI solutions across the region.

“By combining FPT’s local expertise with the power of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, we’re helping more customers across APJ modernise their data foundations, operationalise AI at scale, and turn data into timely, actionable insights that drive meaningful business outcomes,” said Taylor.

For Frank Bignone, FPT Software Vice President and Director of Digital Transformation Division, FPT Corporation, the achievement is a proud moment for them.

“This milestone reflects our deep commitment to building world-class capabilities in modern data platforms, scalable AI solutions, and enterprise-grade analytics. By combining FPT’s global delivery strength and Databricks’ cutting-edge technology, we are well-positioned to accelerate data-driven transformation for our clients worldwide,” said Bignone.

Looking ahead, FPT continues to deepen its talent capabilities, with a focus on growing the number of professionals certified at the advanced Databricks Data Engineer Professional level. FPT and Databricks are also planning joint events and go-to-market activities in key markets such as the United States and Japan. These initiatives aim to generate new business opportunities and strengthen FPT’s position as a trusted data and AI partner on a global scale.

Recognition from Microsoft

Earlier this month, FPT was also recognized by Microsoft with two certifications. The first is as a Microsoft Fabric Featured Partner which allows FPT to gain priority access to exclusive Microsoft programs, co-innovation opportunities, and visibility at global Microsoft events. The second recognition as a Microsoft Advanced Specialization in Analytics on Azure follows a rigorous audit by Microsoft-accredited third-party assessors, ensuring that FPT's solutions meet Microsoft’s most stringent criteria for quality, security, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

With this specialization, FPT now holds seven Microsoft Advanced Specializations and proves its ability to help enterprises design and deploy cutting-edge analytics services, using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric. It also opens access to Microsoft's Azure Innovate Partner-led funding, offering up to US$10,000 for Proof of Value (POV) initiatives and up to US$50,000 for production-scale deployments.

Both achievements reinforce the company’s capabilities in driving innovation in data analytics and AI, while solidifying its position as a trusted partner in digital transformation.
