Vertiv expands distribution in Malaysia with Tec D

Vertiv partners Tec D to further expand its footprint with its broad power and cooling solutions offerings in the country.

Vertiv has announced a strategic distribution partnership with Tec D based in Malaysia to distribute its full suite of IT solutions in the country. Tec D, which is a subsidiary of Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX company, will enable Vertiv to further expand its footprint in the country with its broad power and cooling solutions offerings, amid the growth of data-driven transformation initiatives.

Known for its strong partner ecosystem and deep market knowledge, among the solutions to be distributed include Vertiz’s Liebert GXE 1-10kVA uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The online double-conversion, single-phase UPS, offers power protection in an affordable and efficient system with significant operational flexibility. It is ideal for a wide range of applications, from small to medium-sized businesses to diverse industries such as healthcare, banking, telecom, retail, and transportation.

According to Daniel Sim, senior director for IT distribution and partners at Vertiv Asia, the partnership with Tec D will help Vertix support customer IT challenges and strengthen its presence in Malaysia.
