Westcon-Comstor expands CrowdStrike partnership in Singapore

Westcon-Comstor has expanded its strategic relationship with CrowdStrike to meet growing demand in Singapore for cybersecurity consolidation and cloud-native security with the Falcon platform.

Westcon-Comstor has expanded its distribution agreement with CrowdStrike in Singapore as the global technology and specialist distributor looks to bring the AI-nativeCrowdStrike Falcon platform to its partners and customers.

The partnership will not only strengthen Westcon-Comstor’s channel reach but also expands CrowdStrike’s regional channel ecosystem, enabling Westcon-Comstor’s partner base of leading resellers to drive adoption of cybersecurity’s platform of choice for the agentic era.

Last month, CrowdStrike unveiled the fall release of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform – the Agentic Security Platform. Built AI-native from day-one and revolutionized for the agentic era, the Falcon platform is the foundation powering the agentic SOC.

“The world is entering an arms race for AI superiority as adversaries weaponize AI to accelerate attacks. In the AI era, security comes down to three things: the quality of your data, the speed of your response, and the precision of your enforcement,” said George Kurtz, CEO and founder of CrowdStrike on the new release.

For Westcon-Comstor, the rise in AI-driven threats in the region is seeing adversaries targeting critical infrastructure with organizations also having to deal with increasing digital complexity. As such, the expanded partnership with CrowdStrike into Singapore will focus on capturing the market opportunity created by the Falcon platform.

Taking a deeper look at the partnership. Westcon-Comstor will deliver industry-leading protection from CrowdStrike – including CrowdStrike Endpoint Security, CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security, CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security, and CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM – to its existing partner base and customers, alongside new enterprise, corporate, and SMB customers.

Meanwhile, CrowdStrike’s channel ecosystem will benefit from Westcon-Comstor’s extensive cybersecurity expertise and value-added services, including technical enablement, upskilling, and data-led insights.

At the same time, as Westcon-Comstor is an AWS Designated Seller of Record (DSOR), customers and partners will also be able to purchase the CrowdStrike Falcon platform via both Channel Partner Private Offers (CPPO) and private listings on AWS Marketplace, providing them with a frictionless, end-to-end sales process.

According to Jacquie Young, Managing Director, Cloud, APAC, at Westcon-Comstor (pictured above), Singapore’s digitalization drive has raised the bar for infrastructure and cybersecurity, putting pressure on businesses to modernise quickly.

“By providing a streamlined route with hands-on support, we aim to unlock significant new growth opportunities for both CrowdStrike and channel partners. Our role is crucial in helping businesses consolidate their security and stay secure without getting overwhelmed, driving adoption of CrowdStrike solutions while creating revenue opportunities for channel partners in the process,” said Young.

For Girsih Gargeshwari, Senior Director, Distribution and Alliances, CrowdStrike Asia Pacific and Japan, expanding the partnership with Westcon-Comstor to Singapore strengthens the cybersecurity vendor’s channel reach and partner-first strategy in the region, while providing Westcon-Comstor’s partners and customers with cybersecurity’s platform of choice for the agentic era.

“Together, we will accelerate adoption of the AI-native Falcon platform, enabling our partners to drive vendor consolidation, reduce security complexity and costs, and stop breaches with a truly agentic security platform,” said Gargeshwari.

Apart from the distribution agreement in Singapore, Westcon-Comstor also has a partnership with CrowdStrike in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Westcon-Comstor was named the 2024 CrowdStrike Global Distributor Partner of the Year, earning the recognition for its outstanding performance in driving adoption of the Falcon platform by leveraging its network of 12,000-plus channel partners across EMEA and APAC.
