Extrahop expands footprint to Singapore
Extrahop is expanding its global footprint in Singapore to facilitate the growing adoption of its NDR platform in the Asia Pacific region.
ExtraHop is expanding its presence in Singapore as it looks to support the growing adoption of its NDR platform in the Asia Pacific region. According to a media release, the modern network detection and response (NDR) vendor experienced significant growth in the region, with revenue increasing by 62% year-over-year.
Driving the growth in the region are enterprises customers from highly regulated industries such as banking, public sector and critical infrastructure. Stricter regulations enforcement by the Singaporean government requires enterprises to focus on ensuring data sovereignty and that data is kept within national borders.
This has resulted in ExtraHop is expanding its network in Singapore. This strategic location, home to many global enterprises and financial institutions, will provide a crucial local point of presence (PoP) for customers’ ExtraHop data, while also significantly accelerating threat detection and response capabilities.
According to Ken Chen, Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan, ExtraHop, the vendor has established itself as the preferred NDR provider in the Asia Pacific enterprise market by delivering unparalleled network visibility and context.
“Our continued expansion across APAC is a strategic move to provide our customers with a distinct advantage in meeting evolving compliance demands and ensuring they have the absolute fastest pathway to detecting and neutralizing advanced threats right here in the region,” said Chen.
ExtraHop unifies NDR, network performance management (NPM), intrusion detection (IDS), and forensics in a single, integrated platform to give enterprises complete visibility and highly contextual insights into their entire hybrid infrastructure. As the threat landscape grows increasingly sophisticated, this comprehensive approach delivers faster threat detection and response, enhances productivity, and reduces operational complexity.
“Cybersecurity and digital resilience need to be the cornerstone of any organization’s business strategy,” said Foo Siang Tse, Senior Partner, Cyber, NCS.
“ExtraHop’s offerings have helped our clients with network visibility and deep investigation capabilities that are required to rapidly detect and respond to threats. ExtraHop’s continued investment in Singapore is representative of our shared commitment to regional growth,” added Foo.
