Avanade to acquire Total eBiz Solutions to accelerate growth in Southeast Asia

The acquisition is Avanade’s first in Southeast Asia and will enhance their ability to help mid-market businesses and public sector clients drive transformation.

Avanade has announced the acquisition of Total eBiz Solutions, a Singapore-headquartered IT services firm recognized for its deep expertise in Microsoft technologies. The acquisition, which is Avanade’s first in Southeast Asia, will enhance the Microsoft solutions provider’s ability to help mid-market businesses and public sector clients drive transformation.

Total eBiz Solutions was established in 2003 and specializes in AI, cloud, data, engineering, automation, and digital workplace solutions. Its portfolio includes a leading Contact Center as a Service platform and Gen AI-powered tools for knowledge search, service management, and digital campus experiences.

According to Bhavya Kapoor, Avanade’s President for Asia Pacific, the acquisition marks a pivotal moment in Avanade’s journey in Southeast Asia.

“Beyond enhancing our technical capabilities, it positions us to lead in helping mid-market organisations reimagine their business models, drive new growth, and stay ahead in a market that is evolving at extraordinary speed," Kapoor said.

For Radhakrishna Bijjala, Chief Executive Officer at Total eBiz Solutions, joining Avanade is a natural next step for Total eBiz Solutions.

“This partnership lets us amplify our impact and offer clients global capabilities while maintaining the agile service they value. It also opens new growth and learning opportunities for our people,” he said.

The acquisition will see Total eBiz Solutions’ three offerings integrated into Avanade’s broader capabilities. This will unlock greater value through scalable managed services, infrastructure transformation, modern applications, Dynamics 365, and AI-powered security solutions. More than 200 professionals from Total eBiz Solutions will also join Avanade.

As mid-market leaders double down AI, Avanade research shows most of them planning to prioritize AI this year and boost investments. However, many are still working out the value with 44% are stalled at the proof-of-concept stage, and 48% still building the business case.

This presents a massive opportunity for both Avanade and Microsoft. As such, Mayank Wadhwa, President for Microsoft Asean believes the acquisition creates a partner uniquely positioned to bridge that gap, helping organizations accelerate from pilots to real-world impact with the full power of Microsoft technologies.

Meanwhile, Megawaty Khie, Regional Managing Director for Avanade in Southeast Asia stated that the region’s fast-growing industries, from public services to manufacturing and education, are seeking digital reinvention to compete globally.

“Total eBiz Solutions’ strong local track record and industry solutions, combined with Avanade’s AI innovation, will help clients in the region tackle these opportunities with confidence and speed,” said Khie.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Completion of the acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions.
