Check Point launches strategic MSSP program across Southeast Asia with M.Tech
The collaboration will see the Check Point MSSP Program brought to the Southeast Asian region.
Check Point Software has launched a strategic collaboration with M.Tech to deliver enterprise-grade cybersecurity services to organizations in the region. The initiative will see the Check Point MSSP Program brought to the Southeast Asian region.
According to Check Point, the initiative will be delivered through a flexible Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) model, addressing the evolving needs of customers who demand expert-led, scalable, and cost-effective protection.
The ASEAN region has witnessed an increasing demand and reliance on managed security service providers (MSSP) due to rising cyber threats, complex compliance requirements, and a growing shortage of cybersecurity talent.
Commenting on the collaboration, Pratyush Raj, Head of Channels, ASEAN and Korea at Check Point stated that the collaboration supercharges Check Point’s partner ecosystem to deliver cutting-edge, scalable cybersecurity services through a Pay-As-You-Go model.
“With certified experts already onboard and more joining fast, clients can now tap into enterprise-grade protection without the need to build and manage a full-fledged SOC of their own,” added Raj, who also recently started his new role at Check Point.
For Subodh Kaushik, Head of MSSP Channels, ASEAN & Korea, Check Point, CISOs today face major challenges around risk profiling, cyber liability insurance, and retaining skilled cybersecurity talent.
“MSSPs address these pain points by delivering security as a managed service — giving enterprises flexibility and agility, while driving stronger profitability for our partners. Our new PAYG model empowers partners with next-gen, scalable, and future-ready cybersecurity solutions,” said Kaushik.
Meanwhile, Mdm Han, Director at M.Tech believes both Check Point and M.Tech are committed to enabling partners and delivering next-gen managed security services to meet the dynamic needs of today’s digital businesses.
“Our sales teams have completed the necessary accreditation for the MSSP. We trust the elasticity of Pay-As-You-Go under MSSP as an impetus to use Email Security for our internal IT across the region and for our partners,” said Han.
