Huawei Cloud's partner strategy drives growth and collaboration across Asia Pacific
At Huawei's 2025 Asia Pacific Partner Conference in Thailand, regional partners, including AIS, Orange Business, S-Cash Global, Silverlake, and others, highlighted their work with Huawei.
Huawei Cloud is expanding its reach through a growing partner network in Asia Pacific. With over 45,000 partners and 12,000 offerings on KooGallery, the company is working to match technology with real business needs.
KooGallery is Huawei Cloud’s online marketplace that connects businesses with a wide range of cloud-based solutions, including AI, big data, security, and industry-specific applications. It enables partners to list, promote, and sell their offerings to a global audience, helping customers find the tools they need to accelerate digital transformation.
At Huawei's 2025 Asia Pacific Partner Conference in Thailand, regional players, including AIS, Orange Business, S-Cash Global, Silverlake, and others, highlighted their work with Huawei. These partnerships aren't just about tech — they're delivering results across industries like finance, telecoms, and agriculture.
Dale Chen, Director of Partner Development at Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific, summed it up simply: "Grow with industry, succeed with partners."
Huawei Cloud is seeing strong growth in Asia Pacific through partner-driven efforts. Its revenue and partner base have expanded rapidly, now reaching a global network of over one million partners.
It's also backing that growth with real investment. Huawei supported hundreds of partner-led marketing events and service workshops across the region. As a result, many partners are seeing stronger returns from the collaboration.
Looking ahead, Huawei plans to deepen its work in industries like finance, telecoms, and automotive. It's working with partners to build service capabilities, address early-stage investment challenges, and explore new service markets together.
Michael Lee, CEO of Singapore-based S-Cash Global, shared how the company weathered the pandemic and scaled fast — thanks in part to Huawei Cloud. With support from Huawei's infrastructure and ecosystem, S-Cash doubled its revenue year after year. It now runs two Super App projects with Huawei, using AI to power features like price optimization and channel targeting.
Orange Business, which operates in more than 200 countries, is marking nearly a decade of working with Huawei. The partnership spans AI, 5G, and cloud, with both companies helping clients expand into Europe and Asia.
Christophe Ozer, Head of Orange Digital Infrastructure for Asia Pacific, expects that partnership to grow. He pointed to Huawei's Ascend 920C chip as a key asset for AI workloads. "Cross-continental collaboration will be essential," he said. "We see Huawei and Orange playing a key role."
Silverlake Group also sees long-term value in the collaboration. The company provides core banking systems to over 40% of the top 20 banks in the region. But after 35 years in the industry, its systems — like many — have grown complex and fragile. AI adds both risk and promise.
Group CEO Cassandra Goh says the future of banking depends on a new kind of system: one that integrates hardware, software, and AI with the needs of banks. That's what Silverlake and Huawei are building together. Silverlake was also named the Malaysian Partner of the Year at the Huawei Cloud APAC Partner Summit 2025 in Phuket.
Each partner came to the stage with their own story. But the message was clear: long-term growth depends on cooperation, not competition.
