Understanding the categories for the CRN Channel Awards Asia 2025
Nominations for the CRN Channel Awards Asia close May 30th, 2025
The CRN Channel Awards Asia recognizes the success in the channel, especially the achievements vendors, resellers and distributors have achieved in the past year in the Asian region.
The inaugural award for the Asian region takes place in Singapore. There are 28 categories that vendors and partners as well as IT companies can consider submitting nominations for.
With the deadline for nominations set for May 30th, 2025, there have been queries from partners and vendors on which categories they should best submit their nominations. It is important to note that each company can only be nominated for one category.
However, there are 28 categories available and while the requirement is only per entry for per category, vendors and partners can submit different entries for different categories.
For example, a vendor would like to submit an entry for Vendor of the Year category as it feels it meets the criteria to be selected as a finalist. The same vendor also feels that if can also have a stronger chance of winning the Network Vendor of the Year category as it has demonstrated strong capabilities in that category. While both entries can be submitted, the vendor can only be selected as a finalist for one of the categories. The same scenario applies to both resellers and distributors as well.
Another interesting category that has been seeing increased traction is for the All IT Companies segment. There are seven categories available in this segment and it's open to all IT companies, which includes vendors and partners as well. The most interesting category in this segment are currently the Startup of the Year, Women of the Year and AI Initiative of Year. All these categories have received a lot of interest and have shown increased submission of entries.
To ensure the finalists and winners are fairly selected, there will be a panel of 15 judges representing vendors, distributors and resellers judging the entries. Judges will also not be judging the categories that they represent.
With the deadline just under a month, vendors and partners are strongly advised to submit their entries as soon as they can. There are no costs involved to submit nominations, and it provides a good platform for partners in the region to really showcase their capabilities and achievements.
In the US and Europe, where the CRN Channel Awards have been held for some time, being nominated as a finalist is often considered a successful achievement by the channel community as well.
The awards ceremony will take place in Singapore on the 25th of September 2025. Nominations close May 30th. Click here to submit entries.
