Unlocking the Future: Google Cloud and Partners Drive Agentic AI Transformation in Southeast Asia
The momentum around Google Cloud AI and Agentspace in Southeast Asia is palpable
In Southeast Asia, AI is quickly becoming the bedrock of enterprise transformation, with AI agents becoming increasingly autonomous and integral to business operations. At the heart of this momentum lies Google Cloud’s Google Agentspace platform – a breakthrough that enables businesses to harness AI with precision and scale. By putting its robust partner ecosystem front and centre, Google Cloud is not only expanding the reach of its AI innovation but also helping organisations across the region reimagine how they operate, compete, and grow.
This agentic approach, delivered through expert partners, is accelerating AI-powered change across diverse industries – from financial services to retail and manufacturing.
"The rapid adoption and impactful applications of Google Cloud AI and Agentspace in Southeast Asia are incredibly encouraging. We are witnessing a fundamental shift in how enterprises operate, compete, and grow, driven by intelligent, proactive AI agents. This transformation, fueled by the combined power of Gemini thinking models, agentic search, and customer enterprise data, is enabling businesses to automate workflows, gain deeper insights, and make faster, more informed decisions, ultimately shaping the future of intelligent enterprises in the region," said Mark Micallef, Managing Director, Southeast Asia, Google Cloud.
Empowering the Ecosystem: Google Cloud's Partner-Centric Approach
A key differentiator in this momentum is Google Cloud's unwavering commitment to its robust partner ecosystem. By placing partners at the front and center, Google Cloud is amplifying the reach and impact of Agentspace, empowering a vast network of expert partners to co-create and deliver intelligent, proactive AI agents.
A prime example is the "AI Cloud Takeoff" (AI CTO) program, a full-fledged national initiative launched in collaboration with Digital Industry Singapore (DISG). This program aims to establish AI Centers of Excellence (AI CoEs) within 300 digitally-mature, Singapore-based companies over the next 12 months. Companies participating in AI CTO will work with DISG-appointed, Google Cloud-certified technical consultancy and implementation partners—including Accenture, AsiaPac, CloudMile, Deloitte, Kyndryl, NCS, NTT Data, and Searce—to establish their AI CoEs. They also receive significant financial incentives worth up to SG$500,000 from DISG and Google Cloud, disbursed in tranches as they meet various milestones.
"Our partners are truly at the heart of the AI transformation we're seeing across Southeast Asia. Through initiatives like the AI Cloud Takeoff program and collaborative efforts like the Clone Wars Project, we are empowering our robust ecosystem to not only extend the reach of Agentspace but also to co-create innovative, industry-specific AI solutions. This partner-centric approach is accelerating how businesses in Southeast Asia leverage agentic AI to drive real-world impact and unlock new possibilities," said Elbert Bailey, Head of Partner Ecosystem and Channels, Southeast Asia, Google Cloud.
Beyond Singapore, Google Cloud is implementing various skilling initiatives across the region.
