Why winning the CRN Channel Award makes a difference
The inaugural CRN Channel Awards Asia takes place on September 25th in Singapore. Nominations close May 30th.
The CRN Channel Awards have been around for some time in the US and the UK. Last year, Germany had its inaugural version of the CRN Awards as well, with the second one scheduled later this year.
The Channel Company decided to bring the CRN Channel Awards to Asia not just because the awards in the US, UK and Germany a huge success but also because there is a need to recognize and honour the vendors and partner ecosystem in Asia for their success in the channel.
While there are many awards that celebrate success in Asia, the CRN Channel Awards Asia takes a more specific look at the success of all the individuals and teams that enable the partner ecosystem to deliver the best results for customers. The various categories also acknowledge the work both vendors and partners have done over the year in delivering successful outcomes.
For Aaron Raj, CRN Asia editor, the CRN Channel Awards Asia is probably the best recognition for the channel ecosystem in the region. While vendors and partners often celebrate each other in their respective awards ceremony, the Channel Awards recognizes the best of the best in each field.
“Being named a finalist in the CRN Channel Awards Asia should already be considered a great accomplishment as it recognizes the efforts and contributions made in the industry,” said Raj.
There are 28 categories available in CRN Channel Awards. The categories are split between vendors, resellers and distributors. Each category recognizes the unique contribution by an individual or team in that organization.
Global recognition
The CRN Channel Awards Asia also provides a global recognition to winners. Winners of CRN Channel Awards in the US, UK and Germany often celebrate their success both in their organization and within peers of the industry as well.
In the UK, the awards ceremony is one of the most sought-after celebrations in the industry, with guests and finalists enjoying the evening networking with peers and also celebrating their wins.

Over in Germany, the inaugural awards drew a sold-out crowd with vendors and partners congratulating each other and celebrating their wins. Even finalists that did not win the award were happy enough to be part of the celebration.
