FPT expands strategic partnerships in Thailand
The global IT services provider also announced partnerships with ServiceNow and Akamai in Vietnam following the full acquisition of David Lamm Consulting, a German IT consulting company in April.
Vietnam’s FPT Corporation (FPT) has formed strategic partnerships with two of Thailand’s leading enterprises, Sunline and Buzzebees, as the global IT services provider looks to deepen technological and business collaboration between the two nations amid their shared momentum in digital economic growth.
Prime Ministers from both countries witnessed the signing which took place on the sidelines of the Vietnam – Thailand Business Forum 2025. FPT will support Sunline, a leading core banking solutions and services provider, in system integration competencies across digital banking, digital lending, and core banking, drawing on more than two decades of experience delivering technology services and solutions to global banks, insurers, and financial institutions.
As Thailand accelerates its shift toward a virtual banking future, FPT will also help Sunline scale up the delivery capabilities of its Digital Core Banking Transformation Solution SunCBS. Both sides aim to drive digital transformation for Thai financial institutions to improve customer experience, modernize legacy systems, and achieve operational resilience amid the country’s rapidly evolving banking landscape.
Meanwhile, Buzzebees is Thailand’s leading loyalty and digital engagement platform company. FPT and Buzzebees will deliver comprehensive, consumer-focused digital solutions to facilitate customer data exchange and cross-merchant loyalty programs for businesses, particularly in FMCG, retail, financial, and telecommunications sectors. Both sides will join forces to enhance customer engagement, modernize legacy systems, and boost operational efficiency. The partnership's initial projects are expected to deliver tangible business results to clients within this year.

Apart from the strategic partnerships, FPT also signed MoUs with Thailand’s King Mongkut's University of Technology to implement joint training programs and student exchange initiatives in AI, Robotics, and Automotive Automation. FPT also signed another MoU with Khon Kaen University partner to jointly develop a semiconductor workforce training program for Thailand. This collaboration is part of the Thai Government’s Semiconductor Sandbox initiative, led by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).
As a key market for its presence in the APAC region, FPT has established its position as a trusted digital transformation partner for Thailand’s leading enterprises particularly in banking and finance, with renowned names like KBTG, SCB, KKP, TTB, Bangkok Bank, and other sectors including insurance, retail, automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, energy and utilities, consumer goods, and aviation. FPT currently boasts hundreds of local employees serving the Thai market, with a plan to double its workforce by 2027.
Partnerships with Akamai and ServiceNow
FPT also became the first ServiceNow Reseller Partner in Vietnam. As a Reseller and Consulting & Implementation Partner, FPT will bring the full strength of the ServiceNow AI Platform directly to enterprises, accelerating time-to-value, simplifying implementation, and enabling co-driven growth opportunities.
FPT will leverage the platform’s extensive capabilities across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and workflow automation. This will extend market reach, activate incentive programs, and co-invest in solution packages to power large-scale, industry-specific digital transformation across Vietnam and the broader Asia-Pacific.

FPT first joined the ServiceNow partner ecosystem in 2021 as a Consulting & Implementation Partner in the United States, followed by its designation as a Build Partner in Germany in 2022, and expansion into Japan in 2023.
Earlier this month, Akamai Technologies also announced FPT as a newly appointed global systems integrator in the Akamai Partner Program. Under the program, FPT will collaborate closely with Akamai to help customers build, deploy, and optimize distributed cloud applications on Akamai Cloud.

Outside of Aisa, FPT announced the full acquisition of David Lamm Consulting, a German IT consulting company highly experienced in the energy sector in April. This strategic move reaffirms FPT’s commitment to deepening its presence across Germany and Europe, while enhancing its capabilities in delivering digital solutions and services for energy and utilities companies, one of the key growth drivers that contributes nearly 50 percent to FPT’s total revenue in this region.
With over 16 years of operations in Europe, FPT has established a strong local presence in nine countries and proven to be a trusted digital transformation partner to companies across several industries, including energy and utilities, automotive, healthcare, banking and finance, and more. In the first quarter of 2025, FPT reported robust results, with revenue increasing by 13.9% and profit before tax up 19.4% year-on-year. The technology sector continues to serve as a key growth driver, achieving a 15.3% year-on-year increase, underpinned by a 17% rise in revenue from global IT services. In 2024, FPT reported a total revenue of US$2.47 billion and a workforce of over 54,000 employees across its core businesses.
