Kyndryl transforms Thailand’s Krungsri into a modern workplace
The world's largest IT infrastructure services provider will be supporting Thailand’s Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) in its transformation into a modern workplace with Microsoft 365 E3.
Kyndryl will be supporting Thailand’s Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) in its transformation into a modern workplace with Microsoft 365 E3. The world's largest IT infrastructure services provider is hoping to enhance the bank’s efficiency and continuity in internal processes while securely delivering a simpler and better experience for Krungsri's employees and customers.
As the fifth largest financial group in in Thailand in terms of assets, loans, and deposits, Krungsri is a strategic member of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), Japan’s largest financial group and one of the world’s largest financial organizations.
The financial group provides a comprehensive range of banking, consumer finance, investment, asset management, and other financial products and services to individual consumers, SMEs, and large corporations through 576 domestic branches and over 32,827 service outlets nationwide.
According to Kittipong Asawapichayon, Managing Director of Kyndryl Thailand, as a leader in managed mobility, Kyndryl is committed to helping transform every space into a modern workplace for customers’ employees to meet the increasing demand for hybrid working.

Specifically,Microsoft 365 E3 enables Krungsri to adapt to new working styles more quickly and flexibly. This enables Krungsri employees to seamlessly access tools for communication, collaboration, and information sharing from anywhere as well as increase the efficiency of customer service resolution while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and data protection standards for banks.
Apart from that, Kyndryl also supported Krungsri in increasing its efficiency by simplifying the identity verification process with Kyndryl’s services on the Microsoft platform. This includes providing advanced features that enable the bank to effectively monitor, validate, and help restore IT systems in the event of disasters while reducing risks and disruptions in operations and enabling employees and customers to conduct transactions more smoothly.
