Google Cloud unveils new AI tools for partners
The tools are aimed at helping Google Cloud's partners more efficiently complete tasks and access information while also augmenting their capabilities with data-backed insights.
When it comes to developing and deploying AI use cases, most organizations need help understanding which workloads are best suited for AI as well as the tools needed to ensure a smooth deployment. Partners play a key role in helping businesses achieve this goal.
As the investments in GenAI and now agentic AI seemingly on the rise, vendors are relying on partners to also enable businesses in their AI journey. This includes ensuring partners are well trained and equipped with the latest technology and are able to be subject matter experts to address customer concerns.
For Google Cloud, enabling partners to be on top of AI delivery is imperative for them. As Google Cloud continues to unveil new capabilities in its Gemini models and such, the vendor has now taken the initiative to unveil a new set of tools to ensure partners can not only provide a better service to customers but also keep track of their own development in the technology as well.
Specifically, there are three new AI tools that Google Cloud has unveiled for partners. First is the SOW Analyzer. The AI-powered tool in the Partner Network Hub applies Gemini to review statements of work and provide instant, intelligent feedback on what’s missing or needs to be updated. Its capabilities include document review, partner coaching as well as providing concrete examples and insights into best practices, based on past data from thousands of customer engagements.
Designed for speed, clarity and continuous improvement for partners, SOW Analyzer also provides immediate compliance feedback and specific guidance on potential issues after documents are uploaded. While Google Cloud will continue to provide the final human approval, this AI analysis accelerates the entire process and significantly augments the partner experience, helping partners begin customer engagements sooner.
Next is the Bot-Assisted live chat capabilities. As partners need instant support for daily business operations, this chatbot provides immediate personalized guidance for common tasks based on questions from partners and is able to seamlessly hand conversations over to live agents when deeper support is needed, leading to faster resolution times.
According to Googe Cloud, initial results from partner usage of the Bot-Assisted Live Chat have been very positive. Apart from experiencing 25% faster resolution time, partners also have accelerated issue closure and reduced friction at the first interaction with customer support. There is also immediate support for partners to solve queries.
Lastly, there is the Enhanced Earnings Hub, which provides partners with transparent visibility into their incentive earnings, consolidating data like rebates, discounts, funds, and credits into a streamlined dashboard that also provides actionable insights to maximize growth and optimize strategies.
“In the coming months, we will be further enhancing this tool with conversational support and personalized, predictive insights that make it even easier to optimize earnings and uncover new growth opportunities. With Earnings Hub, we are putting the power of Google's AI directly into the partner experience. Beyond just tracking earnings, this tool provides insights for partners to benchmark their performance against peers and offers personalized tips to increase their earnings,” explained Google Cloud in a blog.
All three AI tools are now available for partners in the Google Cloud Partner Network Hub. Partners are also encouraged to explore these tools and share feedback with Google Cloud.
