Oracle to empower 300 Singapore-based enterprises with cloud services and training

Oracle will be committing up to S$250,000 per company to empower 300 Singapore-based organizations advance their AI journeys.

Oracle collaborates with Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) to support the Singapore government’s Enterprise Compute Initiative (ECI), which is designed to accelerate AI transformation across industries in Singapore. This includes helping companies establish dedicated in-house AI teams, or AI Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in the country.

Specifically, Oracle will be committing up to S$250,000 per company to empower 300 Singapore-based organizations advance their AI journeys through a combination of Oracle Universal Credits, training, certification and discovery workshops which will be enabled through the Oracle AI Customer Excellence Center in Singapore.

Oracle will also sponsor up to S$1.9 million for enterprises that require private cloud infrastructure to access Oracle Private Cloud Appliance and Oracle Exadata. Combined with the Singapore Government’s support covering 70% of consultancy costs (capped at S$105,000 per enterprise), the initiative aims to lower barriers and enable enterprises to adopt AI at scale, accelerating digital transformation across industries.

Philbert Gomez, senior vice president, Head and executive director, Digital Industry Singapore commented that DISG is glad that Oracle will be offering 300 Singapore-based businesses access to Oracle’s AI tools and expertise, particularly those in the Critical Information Infrastructure sectors who need access to private cloud solutions.

Supported by a dedicated team of Oracle experts and a network of partners, the Oracle AI Customer Excellence Center is designed to help organizations train teams, test innovations in secure cloud environments, and provide the knowledge needed to transform critical business operations.

Among the many enterprises looking forward to the initiative is Oriental Remedies. According to Beatrice Liu, CEO and Co-Founder, Oriental Remedies Group, the partnership with Oracle through the Enterprise Compute Initiative enables them to deliver on their mission to shape the future of AI in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
