Tencent Cloud’s WorkBuddy and Miora to enhance workforce productivity
Unveiled at SuperAI 2026, Tencent WorkBuddy and Tencent Design Miora are two of the latest AI agents to transform assistive AI into execution-driven systems.
Tencent Cloud continues to make an impact when it comes to AI innovation as the Chinese tech company looks to empower both enterprise teams and individual users across Southeast Asia, As organizations in the region continue to accelerate their AI adoption, many businesses are deploying AI to automate complex workflows, enhance creative production, and accelerate digital transformation.
For Tencent Cloud, this creates an opportunity for them to showcase their capabilities to the enterprise community. While westerns hyperscales and AI tools continue to lead AI innovation in Southeast Asia, Chinese AI tools are seemingly on the rise in the region as well.
Tencent Cloud already has a strong presence in Southeast Asia, especially its capabilities in the gaming community. But in the enterprise sector, its cloud and SaaS offerings are beginning to pick up the pace as well.
At the recent SuperAI 2026 Summit in Singapore, the Chinese tech company unveiled its portfolio of business-ready AI agents and applications. The Tencent WorkBuddy (WorkBuddy) and Tencent Design Miora (Miora) are two of the latest AI agents to transform assistive AI into execution-driven systems and represent the latest additions into Tencent Cloud’s expanding “agent playground”.
Capable of delivering tangible business outcomes and elevating daily professional tasks through its suite of enterprise-ready solutions, WorkBuddy enables teams to automate office workflows from data analysis to report creation.
As one of Tencent Cloud’s core enterprise AI agent solutions, WorkBuddy can be integrated into its broader full-stack AI portfolio. WorkBuddy ships with over 100 built-in ‘Experts’ spanning industries, from financial analysis to legal drafting, market research to slide design. This means users just need to have one brief and be able to unlock the capabilities of a full specialist team.
Meanwhile, Miora is an AI-native creative studio with persistent memory that helps designers, content creators, and marketers maintain visual consistency across brands and campaigns. From a natural-language brief, Miora calls on the right creative specialist to generate production-ready graphics, video, 3D assets, and user interfaces, compressing creative cycles from weeks into hours.
Apart from the agents, Tencent Cloud also introduced its Model-as-a-Service platform, TokenHub, which provides a single API gateway to access leading third-party models. This allows developers to combine multiple models efficiently, optimise performance and costs, and support scalable and flexible enterprise AI applications.
Enhancing enterprise capabilities
In an interview with CRN Asia, Sherina Chen, Global Product Operations Manager, WorkBuddy and Miora at Tencent Cloud shared as organizations look to improve productivity and efficiency with AI, one way of doing that is to start internally with an AI native agent that can help employees work faster, smarter and better.
“That’s what WorkBuddy is all about. It’s an AI agent designed for office professionals. So, it provides the ability for employees to save a lot of time on repetitive work. It has a multi-agent to run in parallel and because it gives you the delivered briefs, finished results, so there's no more like copy and paste like an LLM which just gives you answers,” she said.
With Miora being an agentic creative studio with persistent memory, Chen explained that the agent is capable of transforming a single brief into videos, 3D outputs, and more.
“For Miora, if you’re someone that does a lot of marketing promotions, operations, such, you can just give it a brief and it can do all the design work for you. For example, we just give it a logo and access to company products, and it will generate a full set of creative outcomes,” she explained.
Chen also pointed out that the biggest difference between Tencent’s WorkBuddy and Miora compared to other tools available in the market is its capabilities to provide deliverables just by prompts.
“It can work under your authorization in a sandbox environment to access your folders and then give the final results on your desktop. Not just like chatting and replies. By default, it's in the sandbox environment. And also it will require the user's explicit grant access as a tool,” she added.
“Our product has a multi-modal strategy by design. So, when you give it a task, it will automatically route the right models for you, which depends on what kind of tasks to be more efficient and cost efficient. So, we also provide different tiers of the pricing funds for individuals and for teams. You can choose the right fund with different tiers of the credits,” she said.
WorkBuddy was launched in China on 9 March and has achieved rapid growth and healthy retention rates. Today, WorkBuddy is the most popular productivity AI agent service in China, recording 8.85 million monthly visits and 831% month-on-month growth in March 2026.
