Biyani will focus on helping organizations adopt governed, AI-powered security operations that deliver operational clarity, predictable economics, and executive-level accountability.

Securonix has promoted Ajay Biyani to Senior VP, APJ. Biyani will now lead the SIEM vendor’s regional strategy as well as go-to-market execution, partner ecosystem development, and customer success initiatives.

Biyani, who has been with Securonix since 2022, has played a central role in scaling the company’s footprint across APJ. This includes expanding the vendor’s growth in the region as well enabling strong partner and customer engagement. He built and led cross-functional teams across sales, channels, and customer success, supporting more than 100 professionals across the region.

His leadership in the region also witnessed Securonix recording sustained double-digit year-over-year revenue growth while expanding adoption of its Unified Defense SIEM platform across financial services, telecommunications, government, and other regulated industries.

On the vendor’s channel ecosystem, Biyani has strengthened the MSSP capabilities with strategic partnerships contributing significantly to new pipeline growth and accelerating SaaS adoption across enterprise accounts.

With the industry’s first Unified Defense SIEM with Agentic AI, Securonix transfroms security operations by help organizations decide and act across the threat lifecycle with a human-in-the-loop philosophy. Its cloud-native platform unifies detection, investigation, and response, while enabling Sam, the AI SOC Analyst (Sam), and a productivity-based AI operating model for the SOC, so organizations can measure and govern AI by the analyst work it delivers.

Securonix also recently announced a collaboration with AWS whereby Sam and the Securonix Agentic Mash as a new operating model for security operations designed to scale analyst productivity, govern AI in production, and deliver board-ready outcomes. With concerns on rising SIEM costs and analyst shortages, security leaders can now quantify how much analyst work AI completes, govern every AI-assisted action, and communicate impact in operational and business terms with Sam and Agentic Mash.

Growth in APJ

In the APJ region, organizations continue to be under pressure to modernize security operations as they try to balance rapid digital expansion with intensifying regulatory oversight and rising cyber risk. Biyani will focus on helping organizations adopt governed, AI-powered security operations that deliver operational clarity, predictable economics, and executive-level accountability.

According to Scott Sampson, Chief Revenue Officer at Securonix, APJ represents one of the most dynamic cybersecurity markets globally.

“Ajay has demonstrated consistent leadership, built strong regional partnerships, and driven measurable growth. As we continue to scale our Unified Defense SIEM platform powered by agentic AI, his leadership will be instrumental in deepening customer trust and accelerating expansion across the region,” said Sampson.

For Biyani, security leaders across APJ are under increasing pressure to deliver measurable resilience while navigating regulatory complexity and rapid digital growth.

“My focus will be on strengthening our partner ecosystem, supporting our customers’ transformation to AI-driven security operations, and ensuring organizations across the region become breach ready and board ready,” he said.

With more than two decades of leadership experience spanning engineering, enterprise sales, and regional management, Ajay has held senior positions at ForgeRock, Verizon Enterprise Solutions, and Wipro Technologies.

Apart from announcing Biyani’s new role, Securonix also announced the appointment of Cyrille Badeau as Vice President of EMEA, strengthening the company’s leadership team following its acquisition of ThreatQuotient in 2025. Badeau will be responsible for accelerating Securonix’s growth across the European and MEA (Middle East and Africa) market and expanding the reach of its Unified SIEM platform and threat intelligence capabilities.

Securonix also announced the appointment of Bassam Sartawi as the Senior Director for the MEA, who will spearhead the organization’s sales strategy, accelerate market expansion, and strengthen customer and partner relationships across key MEA markets.
