Amy Chua joins Sophos as channel director for ASEAN and Korea

In her new role, Amy Chua will spearhead Sophos’ partner strategy and execution across ASEAN and Korea.

Amy Chua is Sophos’ new channel director for ASEAN and Korea. With over two decades of experience in the tech industry, Chua will spearhead Sophos’ partner strategy and execution across ASEAN and Korea.

Her role will see her focus on accelerating partner-driven growth in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape. This includes leading a specialized multi-market team, focusing on fortifying the regional distributor and partner ecosystem, implementing robust sales governance, and deploying scalable go-to-market models designed to deliver consistent, high-value outcomes for the channel.

Commenting on her new role, Chua said Sophos’ channel-first DNA ensures partners are the primary engine for delivering cybersecurity at scale.

“I look forward to partnering with our ASEAN and Korea ecosystems to sharpen our collective capabilities and unlock new growth, ensuring our customers can navigate today’s sophisticated threat landscape with absolute resilience,” said Chua.

Prior to joining Sophos, Chua was in Google for 4 years and Microsoft for 3 years. She led cloud growth in the region during her time at both Google and Microsoft. Chua also had leadership roles in OpenText and NetApp.

Given her experience and deep expertise in data and analytics, Chua is focused on expanding Sophos’ market presence in the AI-driven security space, helping partners navigate the growing complexity of modern threats with intelligent, data-led defences.
