AsiaPac Technology officially becomes Keppel Technology Solutions

After more than three decades, the technology solutions provider now has a new name.

After 35 years of operations, AsiaPac Technology has officially rebranded to Keppel Technology Solutions. Keppel Corporation, through its subsidiary M1 Limited, acquired a majority stake in the Singapore-based tech solutions provider in 2018.

As AsiaPac Technology, the solutions provider expanded its regional capabilities with acquisitions of Malaysia’s Glocomp Systems in 2021 and a a 70% stake in ADG National Investment and Technology Development Corp (ADG), a Vietnamese IT solutions provider.

Andrew Cheng, CEO of AsiaPac and now CEO of Keppel Technology Solutions shared in a LinkedIn post how AsiaPac transformed and evolved its capabilities from a small technology distributor to a system integrator to a cloud and technology solutions provider today.

Cheng shared that every step of the company’s journey was driven by the passion of its people, the trust of customers, and the collaboration of its partners.

“Today, we embark on an exciting new chapter as Keppel Technology Solutions. Being part of the Keppel Ltd. transforms our horizon: the ocean becomes a metaphor for scale and connectivity, and the synergy between data centres, subsea cables, technology expertise, green energy, infrastructure, and real estate empowers us to deliver solutions that truly stand out in the market,” he mentioned in his post.

Cheng also highlighted how the solutions provider has achieved 13 times growth in the last seven years, a milestone which he shared was made possible by the incredible teams and regional colleagues in Malaysia and Vietnam.

“Our transformation has even caught the attention of analysts and Gartner, featuring our journey as a case study in innovation, transformation, and strategic growth. To our customers, partners, and teams who made this possible: thank you. The future is vast, and together, we’re ready to navigate it, and make waves,” he concluded.

Apart from Cheng, other employees of Keppel Technology Solutions shared the excitement on the new name, stating that the company’s core values of ACT – Agile, Can-Do, Trust remain unchanged and will continue to guide how they support customers, partners and stakeholders in the future.

With a new name, Keppel Technology Solutions will look to continue its success in the region. Recent awards and achievements include being Partner of the Year for Huawei Singapore, IBM’s Top Partner Storage Select Segment for 2025 as well as Advanced Partner of the Year 2025 and Security Operations Partner of the Year 2025 by Fortinet.

The solutions provider also picked up two awards at the CRN Channel Awards Asia 2025 with Jacqueline Chay recognized as Women of the Year for the non-vendor category and Reseller Innovation Project of the Year.
