Noma Security strengthens presence in APAC with new VP for APJ

Noma Security has appointed Mohamed Ibrahim as Vice President for APJ as the AI cybersecurity startup looks to build is presence in the region.

Noma Security has appointed Mohamed Ibrahim as Vice President for the APJ region. An industry veteran with over two decades of experience in the text industry, Mohamed will focus on leading the company’s go-to-market strategy, growth and expansion across the region.

Sharing the appointment in a LinkedIn post, Mohamed thanked the leadership in Noma Security for trusting him to bring the cybersecurity vendor to this region. Mohamed said he also looking forward to work alongside the rest of the Noma Security team to bring in more partners and customers across the region.

Prior to joining Noma Security, Mohamed was VP and GM at Exabeam as well as had several other roles in the company. He also had leadership roles at FireEye, Splunk and several other cybersecurity companies.

“My week kicked off first with more than 12 customer and partner meetings, and one theme has stood out: AI adoption is accelerating making AI Discovery, Security, and Guardrails top of mind for every organisation. Helping customers adopt AI safely has never been more important,” he stated.

With Noma Security looking to establish itself as a leading AI security platform in the region, Mohamed will be focusing on helping organizations securely adopt AI by addressing emerging challenges around AI discovery, governance, posture management, and runtime protection.

“I’m passionate about building high-performing teams, scaling emerging technologies, and helping customers innovate with confidence by securing AI from development through production,” he added.
