Satyen Desai has been appointed as Tanium’s Regional Vice President for ASEAN, with several other leadership changes announced as well.
Tanium has appointed Satyen Desai as its Regional Vice President for ASEAN as the autonomous endpoint management vendor looks to deepen customer and partner engagement in the region. The cybersecurity vendor also announced several changes to its APAC team, reinforcing the commitment to serving regional customers with dedicated expertise across commercial execution, marketing, technical and customer outcomes.
The new team includes Junya Saito as VP for APAC. Saito will oversee full commercial leadership for the APAC region, including revenue growth, sales, team development, and market expansion. James Greenwood has been appointed as AVP, Solution Engineering and will drive Solution Engineering (SE/Pre-Sales) across the region while Yasir Yousuff takes on the role as Vice President, Marketing for APJ. Yousuff will head overall marketing strategy and execution across the APJ region.
Desai’s new role will see him focused on accelerating Tanium’s growth in the region as demand grows resilient, real-time endpoint management and security. Together with the revamped leadership, Tanium is optimistic on scaling regional execution to help customers build a strong offensive security posture by delivering real-time, continuous visibility across their IT environments.
Commenting on his new role, Desai shared that Autonomous Endpoint Management is becoming foundational for organizations that need to strengthen security and resilience, while operating at greater scale and speed.
“Endpoints remain a primary entry point for threats across Asia, especially for governments and critical sectors. In this complex IT environment, customers need real-time visibility and control, plus the ability to autonomously recommend and execute changes with confidence. Tanium is purpose-built for this shift, and our leadership team will work closely with customers and partners to understand their pain points, reduce risk, and build certainty across their endpoint estates,” he said.
With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Satyen has a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering sustainable growth across ASEAN. He held leadership roles at ColorTokens, Cloudflare, Oracle, SAP and Cisco whereby he helped scale go-to-market operations, expand strategic accounts, and strengthen partner ecosystems in the region.
Tanium has been named to the 2026 Security 100 list by CRN as was recently recognized as a Leader in the inaugural 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Management Tools. Tanium was also recognized as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Client Endpoint Management Software for Windows Device Management 2025–2026 Vendor Assessment for the second time.
With the Tanium AEM platform empowering organizations to confidently scale operations and strengthen their security posture, it autonomously recommends and executes changes across the environment, a key fey need for IT operations and security teams who face unprecedented pressure to reduce risk and secure every endpoint in real time, while accelerating operational efficiency.
